Kills Asiatic Jasmine!
Kills Asiatic Jasmine. I bought an abandoned house and the yard was taken over by Asiatic Jasmine. The LSU ag center published an article stating that finale would control Asiatic Jasmine. After trying every other herbicide you can think of I purchased this an added a few squares of dishwashing liquid as a surfacant. It killed the Asiatic Jasmine which made it easy to remove by hand after it dried up. I still use it to control the creeping edges of the Asiatic Jasmine beds along with a very powerful weed eater. Finale works well on most other weeds that Roundup would be used to control as well.

Asiatic Jasmine failure
The house we purchased had asiatic jasmine ground cover over the entire front yard and we wanted to kill it & replace it with sod. I read several articles on the internet that Bayer Finale was the only thing that would kill it. After an expensive purchase I can tell you it did not work at all. After two applications as 5 oz. per gallon the jasmine looked only slightly frost-bit. We had to hire a landscaping company to apply a different herbicide they came up with. Just thought I would pass on this information. Very disappointed in Finale.
