I bought this when tomatoes were scarce and my usual puree was not available. This paste is incredible, a little goes a long way, fabulous colour, great flavour and it's as good as the imported cans of paste I usually buy for pastas. And I love that you can use and store with the screw top pack, because if there is one problem with normal purees and cans is the tendency to use part and have to figure out how to store the rest once open. Will definitely making this a staple in my kitchen!

I have purchased this in the past and will purchase it again. The cap can be a problem when unsealing for first use. Sometimes I have not been able to use it to close the opening. I transferred to a jar with a lid to use it.Excellent flavour, a good thick paste, and works well with all cooked dishes. Even works for coating a pizza base.

As a Turkish man in India, I am looking for similar tastes we get used to in Turkey. This Indira's Tomato Paste is a good alternative for our "salça" in Turkey. I hope they will sell also the 50-50 mix of paprika and tomato pastes in one pack. This will be even greater for Turkish people living in India. Thanks in advance.

Bought this during tomato crisis. Company likely ran out of regular doy pack & started packing in standard laminate packs just to boost sales while people were desperate. There's a reason big companies don't put a pack in the market without shelf life, stability etc tests. The product is good but the spout keeps getting fungus every few days inspite of permanent refrigeration. Need to remove & throw a little & clean the spout before each use. What's the point of having a decent food product if you're not going to have proper packing? maybe the original packing was better but will never know now.

After trying out lot of tomato purée and pasta sauces, this is the one that works comnpletely for me. Taste is of natural tomatoes, the paste is very thick and fresh. So far I have used it for all sorts of indian gravies, italian pastas and pizzas, chinese sauces. It worked every time. A very rare Indian product that exceeds expectation.Only Con: It's not on prime, so you have to pay delivery charges every time. You can't buy in bulk because of shorter shelf life of a product like this. Folks at Indira's, please bring it on Prime!
