I read somewhere that skaters should wear thin socks to get maximum feedback from the boot, so I bought these. I wear a 10.5 men's boot, and the large size of these socks is a snug fit. The material is thin and feels pretty close to wearing nothing. They do wick sweat well, and I have bought multiple pairs. Be careful washing them. Use cold water, delicate cycle, and air dry or line dry because they have some cotton. They barely reach the top of the boot, which works well for me but may not work well for you. They are not soft or comfortable, they are too tight and hardly come up to just above the skate. Can’t be folded over top to cover laces.
