very nice boat - details below
In all fairness I haven't dumped it into the water yet and probably won't for some time. I bought it as a second shore tender I can store on the cabin roof. I have over fifty years on the water and know how to abuse marine stuff. #1 it is heavy construction, I'm favorably impressed. #2 the one piece airfloor is sturdy and hard just like a blow up paddle board. #3 It's very easy to put together but like all inflatables with floors you need to assemble it with just a little, not too much, air first, looking at reviews, some people don't seem to get that point. #4 it is 9.8 ft and has two aluminum seats that adjust fore and aft, excellent for two people that don't want to sit on the tubes. #5 it has a tie down strap for a fuel tank. #6 the transom is rock solid and looks nice, excellent again. #7 I weighed it without seats, gear pump and oars and got 72 pounds, about the same as two bags of woodstove pellets. #8 the bellows foot pump is both high and low pressure/voluum and inflates it quickly, I'm not going to get an electric one. #9 the carry bag is not a bag at all, it's much better. It's a large black canvas sheet with sewn on tie straps. Simply unfold it flat, roll up the raft and set in the middle, fold the four sides over the raft overlapping and cinching the four straps, excellent solution to the common poorly made bag. #10 The oars are two piece aluminum and attach to the oarlock with a swivel bolt and thumb screw, excellent again. I'm impressed and glad I bought this boat.

Arrived a week early.
I was Impressed how quick it was delivered. I haven't used it yet, but it looks very well made. It's holding air as it should.

Nice
Really nice and firm when inflated. Easy to set up but instructions could be better. This is handy to take if you cannot tow a boat on a trailer. We bought this to have with us when we tow our 20 ft camper behind our truck and it really is a nice boat.

A decent dinghy but not primo quality
I sure hope this has welded seams as advertised. If so it should last for a while in the Baja sun. That and the price is why I chose it. The boat set up easily and has some durability features such as through transom screws holding the pontoons to either side. My last dinghy did not have this and the entire transom detached. But the transom is not very thick so I expect some issues over time. I might add an aluminum plate to the back and front motor mount areas to increase rigidity. Time will tell if this is a quality product but initial reaction is that it is a mid range boat. OK but not Achilles quality by a long shot. Not much to choose from via Amazon and I had to have it freight forwarded to Mexico as there is no source for these here. That added 40% more to the cost. So I sure hope this holds up...

This is a very nice inflatable boat
This is a very nice inflatable boat. The air deck makes it very easy to set up. The Instructions could be a lot better. My storage bag handle broke before use. I’ve not use the boat yet. The company service department is awesome if you need help. I only gave it 4 stars because my storage bag handle broke.

Great boat
This is a great little boat that can be inflated by one person and fits in the back of a SUV. I have taken it out on the river 5 times with a trolling motor and it does wonderfully. Also this boat came with what I needed to register it in Oregon. Thanks BRIS!

Breaks after a few days of light use - Avoid like the plague
I ordered a BRIS 9.8' inflatable floor boat to use as a tender for my sailboat. The boat looks good to start with, but the floor failed to hold air due to a hole in it. The surface of the boat rapidly got dirty and couldn't be cleaned. The oars are too short to be useful and the "bag" is very flimsy - the handles rip easily and don't hold the weight of the boat. I wouldn't trust this thing for a day at the lake, much less any offshore or rough weather use. The seller is not at all helpful and made it very difficult to get a refund - they don't stand behind their products.

Owned a Newport Vessel, previously
This has the same features as the Newport inflatable, but a better price. My Newport was glued, but this one is heat welded...much more reliable.

So I have had this boat for 6 months, use it as a tender about 20 times. Some very small issues that were easily rectified, Like tighten the floor valve that was leaking and secure the grab line that was loosely attached. As far as I am concerned this boat is as good if not better than the more expensive brands that I have owned before. The long term will be the real test. I may update my view when time passes but for now I would recommend this product and very happy with it so far. Thank you.
