i bought my first Mouli Julienne forty years ago when I saw it on a TV infomercial. Back then there was no internet or Amazon. I have used it frequently ever since then. It was fabulous. But recently the knob on the crank disintegrated with age. I thought it was all over and was very sad until I though to look on Amazon. And there it was, so I ordered it immediately. And is even better than my first one! It's a great little device. It is so much easier to use and clean than a food processor, quiet, and simplicity itself to clean. It's very fast and efficient. I plan to get one for my grandchildren to use. They are starting to help my daughter in the kitchen and I think they will really have fun with it. It is quite safe. Great well-made product!

This is THE goods! Tired of scraping your knuckles on a grater or watching the grated cheese go everywhere? Tired of rubbing cheese on a grater for a minute and watching it become a gummy, gooey pain in the ...? If so, this new version of the old Mouli grater is the way to go. I found my Mom's old Mouli, probably 50-60 years old, and was using it. I looked for a replacement and found this. Dishwasher safe, stainless steel blades, designed with rubber-like feet to keep it from scooting about as you use it, it's GREAT! Cut your cheese into 2 or 3 pieces and have it grated in a minute. It also works with other veggies and foods.

Great way to shrewd chess’s fast and easy. Sturdy and comes with lots of blades. I haven’t grated anything but cheese yet. Saves lots of time and ripped up knuckles

My wife likes this a lot and finds it super easy to use and grates the cheese and other things easily. She noted it feels cheap but it doesn't necessarily mean it is and she does not have any concerns with it breaking or not being able to perform the desired task. She has already used it several times and enjoys using it. It is fast and super simple to use and a super easy to clean. Defiantly recommend.

Junky item. Does not perform nearly as well as the original Moulinex grater.

Had one of these that was probably 30 years old and finally broke the handle. Tried replacing it with an upright cylindrical crank grater that is supposed to stick to the counter. It often came unstuck and also frequently the grated or shredded items would miss the bowl and fall on the counter. Was so excited to find they still make the Mouli! Decided to spend a few bucks more and go for it! I love it because it sits firmly on 3 feet or over a bowl. Does a great job and is a snap to put together...slide in your chosen blade (there are 5 to choose from), insert handle and you're set. Love, love, love this grater/shredder.

The mouli is the handiest kitchen gadget! This one is a gift for my son. No scraping knuckles grating cheese, carrots, etc. I use mine every day. Easy to clean as well.

The blades are dull and do a poor job of grating. I was very disappointed in the mouli's performance. It requires excessive hand pressure to push down enough to engage the blade. I ordered it to replace a mouli I had been using for about 20 years that actually still works except for the plastic knob on the crank handle which broke about a year ago. I have been using a makeshift ball of cloth to replace that function. When I saw the Ibili version of the machine, I was thrilled. I've now used it twice with two different blades. The blades are just too dull to grate properly. So then I hoped I could swap out the old mouli's cranking arm for the one on the Ibili. No go. The parts are not interchangeable. This product is a poor value for the money.

I've had an almost identical set, but with cutting discs made from tin, that I've used constantly for over 40 years, it just rinses off and I leave it to dry. It was time to find a new one as it was very well used, sadly I found that Mouli don't make them any more. I was very happy to find this one on Amazon which is almost identical and is even better as it has stainless steel discs. It's one of my most used kitchen items and so useful.
