Got this for a Garmin Nuvi 2555LMT. The case has two compartments - one for the GPS and the other for the charging cord, which in my situation was long because it included a traffic radio antenna. The GPS fits exactly in the padded compartment, and the second compartment holds the cord in a flexible area that is like a nylon netting. The two compartments are separated by a padded divider. The exterior is slightly textured and the case material is quite strong. It was delivered promptly, and I have no complaints. It is a good product.As of July 2013 I have used this case about seven times on various trips. Zero problems. Very sturdy and easy to pack. If I lost it, I would buy another without any reservations.

I like this case for several reasons. First: It is a stiff case, which offers good protection for my Garmin and it's accessories. Second: It has room for my travel accessories, tight fit but doable. Third: It actually fits in my computer bag, again it is a tight fit but it works

This hardcover case is for my Garmin Nuvi 2555.Once I figured out that the curved bottom for the GPS is to accommodate the bracket for the window mount I had the whole kit and kaboodle fitting just fine!The suction cup for the window mount is a bit tricky, but I expected that from other reviews. I worked out the minor issue by always making sure that the cup side is next to the zipper (between the curved GPS holder and the outside edge). It's just a little tight, but closes securely every time and I don't have to worry about my screen getting damaged in any circumstances!I'd buy one for my wife but she doesn't want a hard case...

I don't use the suction cup base that came with my Garmin nuvi 2595 LMT, so I wasn't concerned about the issue of it not fitting that came up in numerous reviews. That said, my gps unit doesn't seat well in the removable insert, so I removed it. I wrapped a microfiber cloth around the unit, and if fits fine in one half along with the owner's manual I printed out and bound. The other half (with the net) comfortably holds all cords and the snap-on mounting bracket. The case's construction is average to above average. As others have noted, it would be nice if the case had a handle or a carbiner ring. I use a Garmin friction dashboard base (the beanbag version which I absolutely love), and I keep that base and stem in my glove compartment, so this case works just fine for me.

Nice case, fits ALL of the various GPS parts and POWER cord in one case. Good Price, good product; and it really does have enough room for the cord, the suction mount, and protects the GPS unit. Dropped it off the roof of my car and GPS survived.

Fits my Garmin Nuvi 2555 like a glove. Plenty of room for cables and whatnot in the side without the GPS unit. Only short coming is there is not enough room for any but the smallest of suction cup mounts. I had to use the suction cup mount from my older Garmin as the newer one was too big to fit in this case without fear of possibly cracking the screen.Other than that nit picky item this is a great case with stiff protective sides.

Great protective case. It fits all the components including the car charger in 1 place so you don't have to go digger through multiple charger cables in your arm rest to find the Garmin one that has slid to the bottom under everything else. Sturdy hard cover is also very convenient. Only con would be if you have a small glove comparment or arm rest you may have to store it under your seat.

This item is not as described and the photo is misleading. The product photo shows the 5"Nuvi GPS in the case with the charger and the mount. With the mount disassembled, all items will fit as shown. But the case will not zip closed with the mount inside even disassembled. There is no way to position the charger and the mount in the case and have it zip closed. There is a form fit tray for the GPS on the opposite side that protects it and keeps it from rattling around in the opposite compartment. If the form fit insert is removed and the GPS allowed to float around inside the case, the unit will zip closed with the charger and mount. But then the GPS moves around inside the case and is subject to damage from the mount also moving around in the case. I tried wrapping the GPS in a handkerchief to give it some protection, but no deal, the case will not zip closed. Buyer Beware! This product will work but you must carry the mount elsewhere.
