Ugghhh VERY realistic...great gift and great for aversion therapy if you hATE HATE HATE snakes :) :P :)
Okie. This thing is VERY realistic looking.I have a *ahem* sliiiiiight snake....phobia...phobia sounds better than outright fearbased disgust and hatred of sssssssssssssssssssnakes.I wish I was exaggerating by I tend to sweat., hop around like a crazy person, CURSE (alot) and half way hyperventilate if I see a snake. I have seen 3 outside in the last 5 years and 1 in a pet shop.I am the kind of person who remembers EVERY snake incident with crystal, terror etched clarity.Uggghhh.So why buy a realistic rubber snake?Well long story short I have a friend who lives in Canada and her little boy loves snakes and he knows we have rrrraaaatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttle snakes in the area we currently live and was suitably impressed and some how got it in his head I was going to send him a snake from Arizona. (he's 5)Well hell...okay....so I looked on here and searched for realistic snake....ugghhh...I found this....I figure if I get the cold sweats looking at the photo that it shall suffice as realistic enough to send to a snake loving little boy in another country. Here's a funny thing, being all brave as I was to order it I decided that while it was in my possession I'd try to do a little aversion therapy. A fake snake has got to be better than a real snake for over coming a phobia.Mind you once I placed my order I realized I now had a package coming to MY HOUSE WITH A SNAKE IN IT.At that point the whole "not real" thing wasn't as scary as snake snake snake snake snake snake in a box...coming to the house.ugggghh...So, it's freaky creepy.Like. CREEPY. SNAKES ARE EVIL, I mean....yay, great quality workmanship for a fake rubber snake..if you like that sort of OH MY FREAKING GAWWWWWDDD IT'S HORRIBLE...thing.....I kept it a couple weeks. Made my self look at it, TOUCH IT (uggh) and then I moved it around the house qhere I'd have to walk by it or see it unexpectedly a few times a day.My husband got used to (ha is already used to) me going "GASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSP" quite dramatically when I'd inevitably forget the freaking thing was on the kitchen floor.I gotta say though, I did grow used to it. I stopped gasping (I still hate snakes) I stopped noticing it. When I was able to just pick it up and toss it out of the way of some grocery bags I figured my time with it was done.I packed it up, sent it off and received word back that the recipient was taking it around his home, showing it to all his toys and then took a nap with it (holy freaking hell a NAP WITH A SNAKE, fake or not...yeeeeeesh)So I got my money's worth. Aversion therapy AND a gift. Nice. The top of it is very realistic, the bottom of it, after I got over my fits and gasps I could see wasn't as real. The eyes are.....quite...spooky..shiny..dead, dull, staring and unblinking at you.... (just gave myself the shivers)There's even a bit of wire in the upper..neck? and head so you can raise the head up a bit or turn it...Before I sent it off I grabbed a couple outdoor pictures, really real looking...And I did the classic hold it like it's real thing.By the by, I am IN NO WAY NOW FOND OF SNAKES.Keep the real ones far, far, farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr away. However not freaking out over a photo of one or a rubber one is a nice step in a very adult, non-phobia-ish direction...right?

Seriously Realistic
Love this Snake!!! It has been a blast for snake pranks. I have an educational background in Zoology and Wildlife Biology specialized in Herpetology, the minute I saw this I,was floored at how real it looks. I use it to mess with people in my Town Home complex. I put it out front of my door on some big rocks in my fern & moss garden on some big rocks so it looks like its sunning itself. My neighbour has 4 younger kids and I used to put a different fake snake out in front of my Town house door on the rocks to mess with them when they walked by, the old one didn't look real at all. When I switched it up with this one they went crazy freaking out thinking it was real. I have a camera that covers the whole front of my place. The UPS driver Saw it and stopped in his tracks and slid the packages he was dropping off about 10 feet away from the door. The mailman saw it jumped threw the mail on the ground and ran, one of the landscapers hit it repeatedly with a leaf rake. Its been a blast I am so glad I got it!!

Realistic and lots of fun!
I'm a prankster from a prankster family. That being said, I got my brother really really good. I put it inside his house next to a box in the hallway, he was gonna try and catch it. It was hilarious! Then eventually his dog got ahold of it and chewed the head off. It didn't matter, he got me back, lol. He tied some fishing line to it and put it inside my motorhome at the top of the steps. When I opened the door and started to walk in that dang snake came at me so quickly I didn't have time to notice that it was the headless snake!Good times lol. I just ordered another one, it's good to have one on hand ( no pun intended) to entertain other unsuspecting family members/friends when the opportunity arrises...Fake blood is also alot of fun...

So realistic!
Great value and durable! I used this as a prank on my husband. We live in Florida where snakes are a real problem and he hates them. I completely tortured him, by hiding it partially under the boat trailer. For at least 20 minutes, he was pacing around trying to figure what to do about it before he tried to kill it with a shovel. It looks so realistic (even to a Florida native!) The coloring and the paint are nice quality. He finally tried to chop its head off with a shovel before he figured out it was fake. It took the blow pretty well. Just a scratch. He was pissed. Buy it! The photo was when he was still trying to “kill it”... enjoy!

Scared the beejeezus outta my grown daughter!
Honestly, I was slightly underwhelmed when I got my sneaky snake last fall. I was employing a few extra little passive security measures outside the house and he seemed worth a try. He's a little smaller than I expected, and you can't rearrange him or his coils since he's pretty stiff. He looked like a rubber snake, but I kept him and put him on the back porch under a bedroom window, but didn't think anyone would mistake him for a real snake. Then this spring my daughter (who I'd already told about Sneaky a few mos ago), went out back to help me put my new patio table together. LOLOLOLOL Next thing I heard was much loud yelling and cussing. I ran out and encountered one freaked out daughter! It was GREAT!!!! By then she was laughing. Yeah, Sneaky scared the crap out of her. I'd totally forgotten him - had been thinking of getting rid of it, but after that decided to leave him right where he is. In fact, I'm getting another one for the front porch! (I also got some some awesome solar motion-detector lights for my yard from amazon.) Don't underestimate this snake! ;) If he were bigger and re-positionable, I'd give him 5 stars, instead of 4.
