My first choice capo is the Phil Elliott Elite capo, of which I have two. They are, however, very expensive, so these Paige capos, which are fundamentally very similar, are an excellent alternative. The great advantage with this design is that the capo can be stored above the nut of the guitar and that when in use, the screw pressure is midway behind the neck of the guitar, thereby ensuring an evenness of pressure across the six strings. It's also possible to order one designed for a wider necked guitar.

Fits a variety of fingerboard, very effective and the adjustable pressure is nice and even. These are well regarded for good reason.

Great capo, I own three of these now, leave them on the guitar all the time. Not so good if you have a fat wide neck though if you want it higher then 7th fret !!

Fits great on my parlour guitar but won't go beyond 5th fret on my Martin OM28 or my Lowden

Ich wollte schon länger einen Kapodaster mit Bügel, den ich am Hals befestigen kann. - Diesen kann ich empfehlen. Er ist preiswerter als die meisten Konkurrenz-Produkte, arbeitet aber präzise und führt zu keinerlei Verstimmungen. Das Einstellen der Schraube erfordert etwas Fingerspitzengefühl, aber dann lässt sich der Kapo leicht verschieben. - Ich werde sicher bald einen weiteren bestellen.
