Oribe Straight Away Smoothing Blowout Cream

I've used oribe for awhile and this product is authentic. Also, if you are curious about the product I will say I absolutely love this product. I have mid to fine hair which has waves in it more than curl. I'm constantly blow drying my hair and flat ironing it. Since I've started using Oribe, I early use a flat iron now.Straight Away- I apply it to damp hair from the roots to the ends. It doesn't take much, maybe a quarter to shoulder length hair. Then blow dry. Your hair will fill like silk. As this is designed to work with hear up to 450 degrees, you can seal it with a flat iron if you wish.I've used Oribe Imperial Blow out and this is a cream that adds a thickness to your hair as well as volume. It helps with humity.I've used Oribe Royal Blow Out and it is my least favorite. It is a most that made my hair straight but unable to curl under with a round brush, just a strange texture. I started using it with imperial but only mid way of my hair for shine and frizz.Oribe texture spray- there is a reason this is their best seller. It is amazing. Dry shampoo and texture spray- in one. No residue at all. Just a perfect combination, smell and feel. It is a MUST for any hair product purchase as well as this straight out. Also, I've never experienced oiliness from any of these products, but after 3 days, you can refresh if needed with the texture spray. Hope this helps anyone who is trying to determine if you should spend this much money on a hair product. I can say after much research and debate, I'm happy I did.

My first experience with this was at a resort salon. My long, coarse, wavy hair became soft, silky, and straight (with the help of a blow dryer). I am a white woman. It smells wonderful. I bought some when I returned home and still love it. It is expensive, but a little product goes a long way.

This formula is a dense cream, but it doesn’t typically leave an oily feel. However, if too much is used, or it’s not spread through evenly, it could make your hair greasy, especially if you have thin and fine hair. My hair is to the middle of my back, medium thickness, and fine texture with a natural wave when air dried. On days I don’t blow dry, I smooth a lima bean amount through my damp hair using both hands, then comb. My hair will dry unfrizzy, soft and shiny, not to mention the clean salon fragrance it leaves behind. When I do blow dry, my hair is very shiny, soft, and vibrant looking, unless I’ve used too much, and in that case, it feels almost stiff and just unclean. Use the smallest amount you can to finger it through (and squeeze it into) your hair—from the ends up to where a low pony would be. Let it dwell for a moment before combing so it has a chance to detangle.I find this hair cream much better than Oribe’s super shine cream, as that is much heavier, so tends to leave my hair oily feeling, but not in a healthy, pretty way.Also, when I wash & condition (about 4x week), I alternate between Oribe Alchemy, Kérastase, and Bumble & Bumble Full Potential, adding a Quai Detox shampoo 2 times per week.Use with Oribe’s Alchemy serum for super healthy lengths and feel.

My daughter had me to purchase this hair blow out cream for her kinky hair. She doesn’t use relaxer anymore. She likes her natural hair but wanted to ware her hair straighter sometimes. This product works ok but not great. But for someone with wavy or curly hair I’m sure this product will work great for that texture of hair.

I have long, thick, coarse 3a/3b curls that I like to straighten using the Revlon hot air brush. I applied this to towel-dried hair after applying a little Moroccan oil on the ends, then dried and straightened it in sections with the drier. It turned out smooth, shiny and soft. I did not have to follow up with a flat iron. It is not greasy, waxy, or frizzy at all. I did this 24 hours ago and woke up with my hair looking perfect. It still does. The style feels very “locked-in” like it’s going to stay like this for several days. (If you have this type of hair, you know what I mean.)

I am consistently stunned by how well this product works.I have hair that is wavy-verging-on-curly and incredibly frizz-prone. This blowout cream gives me sleek, smooth, straight hair that doesn't lack volume or structure.It's a little pricey for a daily driver, but I use this for occasions when I want to look polished.

Needed a product to help tame frizz & it really works. My hair is naturally curly & thick. After blowout it’s straight & frizz free & shiny for days!

I have very coarse curly hair. Before this product I would need to flat iron. My blowouts are so smooth with this I dont have to! Another plus is that it makes my hair smell heavenly. I will always repurchase.
