Great overall racquet
First thing I would like to say is that I play very good squash but I am not a pro world class squash athlete. I have been using the wilson n120 n code series which weighs 120g since I started university in 2004 and did not change it since i bought this racquet. After extensive research i was scared to try this out but i have to say it felt different during my first game but I automatically got used to it in one week and i absolutely adore this now. Perfect for a good technical and a powerful player! Go for it dont think twice about it!!

Love this racquet 🎾
This racquet is amazing. I'm fairly new to squash, been playing a little over a year, but this is the best racquet I've played with. It's slightly had heavy but since it's such a light racquet overall that weight doesn't feel like it imbalances my swing at all.

I had been using Harrow Vapours for a few years and was reasonably happy, but I was looking for a racket that could help me take my game to the next level and so I took a chance and bought the Carboflex 125S being unable to try it out beforehand. Let me say I was very disappointed initially, I felt the control that I had was not there with this racket. I play on a very warm court and I was hitting the ball loose and there was too much power. However, I figured the factory tension of 26-28lbs may have been the issue. Sure enough, I switched over to the Tecnifibre 305 1.1mm at 29lbs and my trusted green string and higher tension made all the difference. I am now able to hit the ball tight, and as a big hitter, still have the power reserves to really hit the ball at pace as well. I hope this encourages anyone who is currently not happy with the racket to try a different string/ tension before giving up on it. For those with the Harrow Vapour, the Carboflex racket is lighter in the head but I would say it felt evenly balanced. The Carboflex 125S is definitely more maneuverable and I am able to play more delicate shots at stretch. My final verdict is that I highly recommend the Carboflex 125S strung with Tecnifibre 305 1.1 green string.

Very good squash racquet.
The racquet is well presented in terms of appearance. It’s light and therefore manoeuvrable, yet generates plenty of power. The factory strings are better than most, as is the grip, however I prefer to fit a Karakal grip to any new racquet. This is a change for me from Prince racquets and I’m pleased with the purchase.

As a 'yoof' I back in the heyday of squash I played obsessively to the point where I reached a reasonable level - based mainly on trying to force the ball through the front wall and running around like a deer being chased by wolves. Youth and fitness over technique. Today at 50 I have over the years played on and off circumstance allowing and if I'm honest have not really compensated for age with technique. I have reached a point where I can knock a ball around quite well and with a middling player win at least half the time. I'm cool with that as I use it as a means to keep a reasonable level of fitness. Where one does win out is of course the wallet. I can buy better gear and whilst hardly likely to make me any better does make my playing a little easier and in particular my elbow. As I have said, I used to be the kind of hit to destroy player and I still am simply because I love it when you hit the sweet spot and get the accuracy right so that the ball rockets into a corner and then dies. And this racket helps me do that. Its light with a fairly neutral bias - and that is good for me as I don't put so much force on my elbow. The sweet spot is big. Well bigger than my old Gray's from the 80's which is still my mental reference point.... It's strong - although I note that some reviews say they have had issues. I have not and I hit like I'm trying to kill. So far, so good. Grip. Well, traditionally I used to use terry towelling (can you even buy that now?) but I have got used to this type of soft resilient stuff. I do however load it with roisin which builds up over a few games and of course sweaty hands to the point where it is quite tacky from the off. Bit nasty after a while and I'm due to replace the grip on mine again. Quality is superb. Love the finish, love the style and love the feel of it. That's personal of course but its definitely a step up over the middle range stuff. Overall I love it. Can't say if this is ideal for those with more skill than me with the delicate touch. However for those who like to monster the shot I'd say pretty good.
