Moroccan Rhassoul Clay Mask - Organic Natural Facial and Body Clay Mask - 1 lb

I use this clay for my 4a/b/c low porosity hair. If I am clarifying my hair with castile soap I use this as a conditioning mask afterwards. Otherwise I use it as a shampoo mask. I mix this with warm coconut water and add honey, grapeseed oil and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Depending on the weather I also use vegetable glycerine. I apply to wet hair and cover with plastic caps for 30 minutes to a hour and then rinse out. It has improved the condition of my hair by adding moisture. My hair and scalp are left clean and healthy. Also if your hair is low porosity use very warm water in your hair treatments and add heat when deep conditioning. It helps to open up your hair cuticle to allow moisture to penetrate.

I simply have one question: Where has this clay -- and this Amazon seller -- been all my life? I truly cannot put into words how much of a lifesaver this product has been for my hair. My hair was in such dire need of all of the above, I figured buying a bag of this was worth a shot. Fast forward nearly one month and three applications later: This stuff is the truth. My hair indeed looks, feels, and responds better to my hair products. This is a holy grail for me! And Zakia Morocco's lightening fast shipping and excellent customer service is the cherry on top.

I used this product for a hair treatment and I was very pleased with the results. I am an African American with natural hair and this product left my hair soft and my coils defined.

I was not prepared for the miracle of this clay! I'm touching my hair in awe as i'm writing this review. I'm asking everyone in my house to touch and feel my hair... they don't have a choice! (I need an audience to attest the miraculous unicorn powder mixed with fairy dust magic inside this pouch). On a serious note, I'm in love with this clay. I've used it on my hair, as a mask-shampoo (because YouTube Gurus told me so) . I simply mixed it with water, left it in my hair for 30 mins or so, then rinsed it out and finished with a conditioner. That's it! I'm left with coils from the Gods! It's wonderful for Natural Minimalist Beauties, looking for a natural way to moisturize and take care of their hair. I will be getting Locs soon, and will incorporate this clay into it as well. I will update in couple months with locs!

This is the second time Im purchasing the product and my delivery is 3 days late so far. Now for the actual product, its freaking amazing. My curls are very defined and hydrated. My hair is soft and healthy.

I had surgery in July and I've had issues with hair loss. I wanted to give it time to see how well this would work. Luckily it has aided in strengthening my hair and I've suffered minimal loss the last two months.

Like another user stated, this is not pure clay. It has other elements in it (perhaps sand or other fillers). It clumps and does not spread well over skin. Also, it's not fine. I got a 1inch laceration on my leg from using it and was bleeding! I've used other rhassoul clays and that has never happened to me before! Water mixed with rhassoul clay should be mousse-like in texture and spread very easily. No matter how much water I added to this clay, it clumped and would not spread, the texture was more like thick oatmeal.

This is unscented.. A little goes a long way (apply with fingers to stretch it, using a spatula to apply seems to waste it) I got it to do face masks and my skin always feels so much better afterwards.. U can even make a hair treatment with it for softer hair
