Perfect light, plush, absorbent hair towel
I wasn't convinced I really needed this towel until I had it. It's good quality -- lightweight, but still somewhat plush and luxurious-feeling. It's the perfect size to cover all of my mid-back-length hair. It's super absorbent (as one would hope), which is great since I don't use a blow dryer -- by the time I take the towel off, my hair is much closer to dry than with a regular bath towel. The only thing I don't like is that the tag that says 'yoga rat' ... mostly since I don't use it for anything yoga-related. But the tag is small, and it's not like I'm using it in public anyways.

Great
Very lightweight and super absorbent. I was afraid it was going to feel like the yellow cleaning cloths I buy from Costco, but this is a much nicer and more plush kind of microfiber. Feel like it really cuts down my blow drying time by absorbing a lot of water. Dries quickly which is nice as I use a separate towel for hair and body and don’t have room to air dry more than one towel in my bathroom. This one I just hang on its hook damp and it dries just fine. My cotton towels would be damp and smelly at the end of the dayif I tried that with them. Will get more colors. Also, I washed mine on hot even though you are instructed to wash it in cool water and it’s been fine. I always wash towels on hot for sanitary reasons and some fall apart much quicker than others. This one feels like it will last me a while.

I have been using it for over a month now and am extremely pleased with it
I had another hair towel that I used every time I washed my hair. Unfortunately, I took it on vacation and left it in the bathroom at the hotel. The cleaning staff mistook it for one of their towels and it disappeared. I was devastated! As soon as I returned home I went on Amazon and researched hair towels. There are many out there, but this YogaRat towel seemed to be very similar (but larger) than the one I lost. I have been using it for over a month now and am extremely pleased with it. It definitely reduces the amount of time it takes to dry my medium length hair, which I love because the less heat I use on my hair, the healthier it looks and feels. The towel is soft and absorbent and plenty big enough to take care of longer, thicker hair. Highly recommended!

Good quality.
I've been using a microfiber hair towel for many, many years - actually I've been using a travel towel made by Eagle Creek as a hair towel. I wanted one that would look more attractive in my bathroom and found this and had to try it - the color is perfect and I've been happy with other products from YogaRat. I just used it this morning for the first time, and it worked well. Not sure it is quite as absorbent as my old go-to, but it is noticeably softer and more plush. It is also a good size and easily wraps my shoulder length hair. All-in-all a good purchase. Note: I got the ivory and it does have a loop for hanging. Hoping it will become a bit more absorbent after it has been washed a few times.

Ok but not great.
This product is ok. I haven't noticed that it dries my hair exceptionally better than a regular towel. It's also a pain that I can't use fabric softener or bleach with it (the towel is white). I will keep it and use it, but I wouldn't buy it again. I'll probably give up on the no-fabric-softener thing soon, also.

Best Towel to Gently Dry Your Hair
I don’t like to blow dry my hair and prefer using a hair towel to extract moisture after a shampoo. The YogaRat hair towel is super absorbent and works way better than my other turban style microfiber towels. It’s softer and thicker with just enough “give” to twist my shoulder length hair into a turbin. It’s also big enough to use as a travel gym towel too. I ordered mine in the robin egg blue color which has held up very well, washed 2x weekly since I purchased it in Jan 2018.

Huge and Leaves Hair Just Damp After Use
My hair is too the middle of my back, super thick and dense and letting this towel sit in my hair for 5 minutes will almost soak up 3/4 of the water! It leaves my hair damp. When it comes to styling, instead of spending 25 minutes blow drying it, I can do it in 10 minutes. The towel does not end up soaking wet either - so where does all the water go? The towel is huge and big enough to cover all my hair. Probably would work well even if my hair was to my butt. I ended up buying another one for my daughter who is at college because she just loved mine when she tried it out.

Not impressed.
After reading all these great reviews, I had high hopes for this towel. Maybe my standards are too high, but I'm not that impressed. I have long, thick hair, so my hair takes forever to dry. I didn't see any difference between this and a regular towel. One thing I do like is that it is light weight, which makes wearing on your head easier.
