Top Collection Miniature Fairy Garden & Terrarium Dachshund and Birds Figurine, Brown

I was purchasing Jim Shore figurines and spotted this (NOT Jim Shore but sincerely cute!). Other reviewers were disappointed that it is so tiny and felt it had been misrepresented as being a 'garden' ornament. However, it is clearly stated in the description that this is a "Fairy Garden" ornament and if they had looked at the information included they would have seen that this means it is tiny (about 3 inches), as would be expected for a fairy garden ornament. AND, it has to be one of the sweetest little things I've seen in a long time! I am a nature lover and dogs are at the top of that category for me so I could not resist this. Lovely, whimsical detail; expressive expressions on dog as well as birds. If you collect fairy garden or any other type of teeny ornaments (dogs, birds, etc.) you will DEFINITELY want this one.

This little piece has so much personality! As an owner of two doxie boys, this is so cute. It's well made and it has a little weight to it. My only wish is that I wish it had been larger. Do yourself a favor and buy this. It makes me smile everyday.

Absolutely adorable! A definite 10 on the cutness scale. However, like the matching one with mama & pup, I wish this was about a third larger than it is. No really suitable for outdoor use since it, and the other one, are so small. They do much better on an inside shelf or fireplace mantel. But I really like them both, and am glad to have purchased them.

I just recieved this today- shipping time was fine despite bad weather, packed nicely. I do have to say this is really small ( I didn't read the size when ordering, thought it would be bigger). It seems a little over- priced considering how small it is but I do have to say it is very cute. I will be keeping it.

This an absolutely adorable statue/figurine. It's precious and very cute and can be placed either indoors or outside, but it is so cute that I will be keeping this precious figurine in my home. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves dogs. The Dachshund has a wonderful expression on its face, and the little birds that are lined up on his back are so cute. It is a very detailed figurine and a great addition to anyone's collection.

The dog and birds are very cute. if you bought it for the garden though, It is no bigger than a snail. The description is misleading. it is not for the garden, maybe a spot on the shelf and you would be able to see the cuteness of the critters. I should return it but probably wont. Bought it as a gift but there is no way I can give this as anything but a gag gift.

If you’re a dachshund fan, or even if you’re not, this is a great addition to your fairy garden or for display in your home.

Die Figur ist für einen Dackelfan sehr niedlich. Mir ist es doch etwas zu teuer für diese Größe. Ich hätte vorher richtig schauen sollen wie die Maße sind😉

Very cute and well made. A perfect addition to any fairy garden, it's just the right size. It also sits nicely if you just want to display it on a shelf. Plus, it's a dachshund figurine, so that's an added bonus for someone owned by dachshunds.

Smaller than expected. Found it when searched "dachshund garden ornaments." Only tiny and would never see it - more like an ornament for a dresser or small shelf.
