installed easily on my subaru forrester 2009. Will NEVER buy the overpriced garbage from local brake services again. I installed these 2 with new pads- should mention that wd-40 should be used on the hat and other non pad contact areas to prevent rust. DO NOT SPRAY THE FACES where the pads go- bad things will happen. easy install- quiet non shudder- now we see how long they last...

these were replacements for my vibrating rotors on my Subaru Crosstrek and I've had them for 4000 miles now and seem to work fine. My brakes developed a pulsation due to rotor warpage which is very common on Subaru's. The pads were fine and once these new rotors were installed the vibration has completely gone away. The cost to purchase these new rotors was less than what a shop wanted to resurface the old rotors.

I bought these because my Subaru was shaking when I hit the brakes. I figured it was the front rotors and it was just a little more money to replace them than having them turned so I ordered them. After installation the shaking is gone and they were easy to install.

Subaru Outback 2.5L front rotors. Recently replaced the front brake pads and realized that after 51.2K use miles over almost 6 years, mostly city driving, these rotors are still true and smooth when braking. I was surprised and pleased by this, especially considering in our cold, wet winters and hot, dry summers, our front rotors seem to warp relatively quickly on our other cars. These are still true and smooth when braking and appear to have worn smoothly with plenty of rotor thickness left. Highly recommend.

I recommend the ACDelco Gold Black Hat (Professional) instead. I ordered the Silver due to faster delivery. Of two Silver rotors, one had almost 2 thou runout, while the other was near zero. The one with runout ended up usable because one hub has runout and I was able to index correcting down to about 0.8 thou. Vibration fixed - smooth now, braking well, and quiet. Used Genuine Subaru pads kit (very nice!) The Gold has fine turned finish and many surfaces painted. The Silver has the very rough finish and seems no rust prevention. I assume the Gold has near zero runout. Currently the Gold delivery can show as like 10 days if you order two at a time, but ordered singly, just a few days
