I was surprised to see the negative reviews on this, but it seems like those reviewers maybe didn't quite understand what they were buying more than any fault of this product.As described, this is a temperature correcting gel set, NOT a color effect gel set. These are meant to make your flash match the white balance (color temp and tint) of your ambient light, and they do it beautifully. For example, if you're shooting outdoors with flash during golden or blue hour, and your resulting images look mismatched between subject and background, like you cut your subject out of one image and photoshopped it into a different one, these gels are how you fix that.If you want something to artistically change the color of your light, you want a different product with more intense gels - the color effect gel set.Likewise, there is no diffuser in this set. What there is is a diffuser plate, which is what Godox calls the magnetic plate that holds diffusers (and other modifiers) on your V1 flash. You get a plate with this set so you can stack your modifiers and slip a gel under your diffuser or grid or whatever.As for storage, they fit nicely inside the case that comes with the Godox V1 flash accessories kit, which I'd highly recommend for anyone using this flash.Anyway, great kit for what it's made to do. Using this has taken my flash photography taken during golden and blue hours from glaringly obvious a flash was used to very subtle and natural looking.

I've used these a couple times with my V1 and AD200 Pro (with the round head accessory). They do the job. My only complaint is their package. I try to place them back in the container and it is a pain. It isn't impossible but still a pain. They have to go back in just perfectly before you can get the container sealed properly. I usually end up taking them all out, placing the one I used back in its proper place and then placing the whole stack back in again. They'd get five stars for a half-decent carrying case.

Nite, this is not a Diffuser Plate, but a magnetic retaining ring to hold the gels. There are 4 hard plastic CC gels and then a series of traditional gels that you sandwich between hard clear gels to stay in place. Honestly I was really disspoiunted, since I was expecting a a diffuser to tamp down any harshness and provide additional spread. Also, the traditional gels are thin and I see them easily getting lost, damaged and an unorganized mess. This is going back, I'll just use a protractor to cut what I need from my existing inventory.

I liked the concept but the colors are not deep enough to my idea and a bigger selection would have been nice.
