We love this, but it is almost impossible to find in stores. We are glad that Amazon still carries it.

This Curry dish is super fast, easy to make and tastes fabulous. I add walnuts and raisins, cooked chicken (sometimes peas & carrots) and my whole family loves it (although some of them pick out the raisins or the walnuts) they still gobble it down and it lasts in the refridgerator. Make sure you add everything to the water before it boils, or the dish will be to dry.

Great tasting, easy to make snack or side dish. Ready in a few minutes past the time it takes to boil water.

This is my favorite instant couscous brand and flavor. For some reason all the supermarkets around me to carry the mushroom flavor any more. I have one dish that I always like to use this with, so I’m so glad I can still purchase on Amazon. The case price is very good as well.

Following the cooking instructions precisely, I burned my first batch. Second try I put rice & flavor pack in simmering water on low, cooked with slight crack in lid to allow steam to escape for 15 minutes, removed from stove, covered, let sit 10 minutes - perfect.

Near East truly makes the best couscous in a convenient microwaveable form. This herbed chicken variation has a nice mix of spices that keeps the couscous from being bland while the small little carrot slivers add a nice additional texture if you are eating this alone as a side instead of mixed with smaller pieces of torn chicken. The Herbed Chicken blend, Toasted Pine Nut, and Garlic Olive Oil are the best and most flavorsome of Near East's options. I only wish that they were a bit more affordable here on Amazon. Typically the savings between here and my local grocery on more specialty products like couscous are greater than the few dollars difference I enjoy on this product. My husband can eat a box of this a day mixed up with tuna fish, and it is good enough for children to enjoy. I appreciate that it is enjoyable to eat while also being healthier than other grain options and lending itself to more diverse cooking explorations (in my opinion). I definitely recommend this product -- particularly if it is well within your grocery budget.

I stumbled across this brand and flavor a long time ago. Now almost impossible to find where I live. I use chicken broth instead of water, small amount of lemon juice, sautéed vegetables and onion. Add pine nuts and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese at end. Guaranteed a crowd pleaser.

I can’t find the Mediterranean Curry flavor at any stores in my area, and this is my favorite… I’ll cook up some carrots with it and add sliced black olives after it’s done, yummy!
