I just got these in and think they are very nice for the job I have a hand. I just need to tame the felt recoil of a few Lever action rifles, with metal capped stocks, these fit right on, are very soft and will not harm the wood, and have a jelled pilling that should improve shooting experience. Very nice material, well-constructed and very cost effective.

Looks great, have not shot with it yet. TIP: when trying to get it on, put it inside out, butt it up to the stock, and roll the sleeve onto it. You won’t be able to just slide it on or stretch the hole over the stock. Fit my Browning Automatic.

Worked pretty dang good on my 300 win mag...once I got it on. I have Winchester model 70 300 WM. and it was a bear to try to get that pad on...until I got smart, and used one of those big handled butter knives. If you put the pointy end of the buttstock in first, then take the handle of the butter knife, you can leverage the pad over the other edge. It is then possible to work it the rest of the way on. It works good tho... Update 7/24/25. 3rd time out with my 300 WinMag, and not one shoulder bruise. Usually, I get a little color from shootin that thing, but this pad really works good. I did have to move the scope back a little for proper eye relief tho...no big deal..

I don't know what other reviews were talking about when it came to installation. this was smooth and easy to install. Took me less than a minute. It also comes with a neoprene insert, which is known for being non-slip, which is good. The material of the recoil pad itself is not very stretchy, AND THAT IS A GOOD THING. It is also NOT made of rubber. THIS IS A GOOD THING. Rubber is too rigid and slides around too easy. I anticipate it will effectively mitigate recoil from the heavy slugs I train with once I get to the range. Fit and Function 10/10. Don't believe all the hate this gets, installation is common sense and easy

The stock cover went on fine. In the comments I don't know why people are having such a hard time putting it on. Yes, it is tight, but it slipped right on mine and fits like a glove. I have yet to see how it will feel at the range. *Update* 8-31-24 The cover works great. Feels really nice against the shoulder. Definitely takes the brunt of the recoil when firing. I highly recommend this.

Smaller than stock.

Can’t believe other people are having such a hard time getting this on their stocks. Fit my Beretta Urika perfectly. Not loose at all and not too tight or hard to get on. The neoprene grips so it doesn’t wiggle around. Adds good cushion and extra LOP for my daughter.

I added this to my 12 gauge to absorb some of the kick but find that it also adds a healthy inch or more to the length of pull so it makes it more difficult for me to shoot accurately. It really does help with the kick...so if you have room to spare then this works great. It is a little difficult to put on but with some effort it can be done...it won't be sliding off after.
