Bought this for a birthday gift. My granddaughter loves it. She still plays with it after a year, the cover comes off to clean, just throw it in the wash.To my knowledge they have never had to add air in between washing. You will have to deflate it to remove the cover. Just pump it back up, it’s a slow process if you don’t have a small tire pump or compressor.

I’ve only had to fill it once, which was simple to do, but it holds air well and is very durable. My older child will try and bounce on it too and it hasn’t budged any air.
