Kason 1098 Spring Door Closer, Flush Hook, 11098000004, Alloy Steel

I replaced my original closer that was installed on my Kolpak walk-in cooler. The original closer was a (Kason) but a different model number that I assume is no longer made. My cooler is about 13 years old. This model fit perfectly and only had to re-drill the holes of the spring mechanism onto the door. The long gray plastic cover trim that my Kolpak cooler came with would not fit with the supplied Kason cover, so I didn’t use the Kason cover. Its just a matter of cosmetic preference of which to use.

This closer was bought to replace the original door closer. The original lasted about 6 years. The closer came with everything needed to make the job quick and easy.
