Weather (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 1)

My first grader is able to read these books very easily. He needs help with maybe one or two words, but for the most part he's able to get them all himself. He loves the pictures and all the facts.

Very nice book for preschool or early elementary school

I am so pleased to know of the natgeokids super readers offering! the book is fabulous- detailed, colorful, funny weather related jokes and weather easily explained.

Our 3.5 year old grandson is showing an interest in weather, and I looked for an appropriate book to share basics with him. He loves this book. It has good pictures and simple but engaging text. We read it over and over and make connections!

My 4 year old son is very interested in tornados. The picture on the cover caught my eye. There isn't specific information on any type of weather. This is more of an introduction (Level 1) to what weather is. The information and pictures were well worth the price and it is also a good beginners book to reading. I would recommend it if you aren't looking for a detailed book on weather.

My 2 year old LOVES this entire series of Nat. Geo Readers... I have purchased about 25 different titles, "pre-readers" as well as Level 1 & 2 readers. She loves them all & will ask for certain ones. The "pre-readers" level books are extremely simple & great because she memorizes the words & can "read" it herself. We love the more advanced ones too, because there is more information to talk about. I have learned quite a few facts, myself!) What a great series. The price is reasonable & pictures are great. These are really getting her interested in nature, animals & science... I will continue to buy these as they are released, for our collection!

I ordered this book to read online with my students. Great information in the book that lead to full discussions. I will use this book in the future with my classes.

Chose this book for my 7 year old autistic grandson who is struggling to read but has an obsession with the weather. The bright colourful pictures were a real hit and generated a lot of conversation and gave him the urge to read it for himself
