"Excellent cover to change your Ikea furniture."
The covers are designed to snugly fit the furniture; however, it's necessary to disassemble the pieces beforehand. Nevertheless, the resultant transformation is notably impressive. Positives: - They conform impeccably to the furniture. - Comprehensive instructional videos are available. - The material appears robust and easily washable, suitable for regular usage. - Basic installation necessitates no additional tools, utilizing the same implements typically employed for assembling Ikea furniture. Negatives: - Achieving a perfect fit demands more time and effort than depicted in the instructional videos. - Lacking are the straps to facilitate moving furniture with casters. - Locating the precise placement of screws for drilling holes may prove somewhat challenging. In summation, this option comes highly recommended for those seeking to refurbish their Friheten with Chaise Corner.

Perfect fit genius
These folks are genius. The covers are a perfect fit. Everything is well thought out. Material is firm and the sofa looks brand new. Only if they provided the two pull loops in the new cover material for the underframe this would be a patent worthy product! But it’s not a big deal.

As good as the original material. Literally looks like brand new!
I own a furnished apartment building. I have 20 of these sofas. When one gets too dirty to clean or tenant causes damage, they get one of these. Literally makes the sofa as if I just got it delivered. It takes about 90 minutes to install them though - and I am pretty capable individual and have done a few of these. I would not be surprised if it took a first timer 2 hours +. Sofa requires complete disassembly. Most difficult part is cutting holes for the bolts. Assembly video does make it seem easier than it is. But when you are done, 100% worth it! I converted a leather couch to fabric as well. You really cannot tell this is a cover as each part of the couch is individually wrapped as well as each cushion. I would consider this more of a reupholstery than a cover as it’s really not something you are going to want to remove given the amount of work. It should be considered permanent.

Great fit and quality, after challenging assembly
I love yo quality of the fabric and it seems durable and easy to wipe off stains. The fabric looks nice, not cheap and the fit is perfect. The issue is putting the pieces on as the entire couch has to get disassembled and then put together again. Despite the video which I watched a few times and generally a good understanding how to build IKEA furniture I still had a hard time doing this. It definitely needs two people and lots of patients. Because of this I will not take it off to wash it. If anything buy a new couch eventually.

Genius and absolutely perfect!
Where do I start? Wanted to upgrade our few years old dark grey couch bed for my daughters girly room to fit in color wise so went with the light khaki color. The fabric is not only high quality and thick but the perfect beige-ish khaki. The perfect neutral with some character. Since the sofa was already taken apart it was so easy to get the pieces on. You don’t need a master’s degree but a bachelor’s will do 😁 Came nicely packaged and folder with a storage bag and a card that has some qr codes for assembly videos but somehow my phone didn’t pull it up so just searched on youtube (masters of covers friheten) and it didn’t disappoint. The instructions are so simple and clear and each piece of cover is labeled on the inside where they go. Amazing! Btw the guy on the video is also very entertaining! Now when you put on the covers make sure to use your common sense and match up the seams with the original ones and they will fit just perfect. As I followed the instructions I also pulled up the assembly documents from ikea’s website to make sure i poke the holes on the right spots and i literally did the whole project all alone (took about 2 hours, I’m pretty handy though). Anyway, I can only say good things about this product and I highly suggest you to go with the mastes of covers manufacturer because they are truly amazing! All i have left is to steam the wrinkles and it’s ready to be used!

Feels like I have a brand new couch!
If you are thinking to get it, GET IT. I had my Friheten couch in navy blue for 3 years, I am sick of the color, and also there’s already damages due to my cat scratching it. This product fit so well and very high quality! I did stapled them under so it would look very tight fitting! I am so glad that I found this product! Definitely more affordable than replacing the whole couch! Note: these covers are not cat claw proof, I suggest covering the sides with anti-scratch sheets!

Easy to slip on, annoying to reassemble
This cover has changed the vibe of my living room completely. I moved into a new place that needed more warmth and so this cover was the perfect item. However while they're easy to slip on, finding the holes and puncturing the right spot proved really annoying. I suggest taking a picture of your bolts before you slip the covers on so you have a general idea of where everything should go. Ironing the pieced also helped give a more finished look. One thing that I did find annoying and never figured out was the the bottom case cover (for the pull out bed). It appeared that the middle strap for the cover just led to nowhere. I wasn't sure what to do with it so I just tied it to the existing couch coils and called it a day. Doesn't look too bad on the outside, but it does annoy me knowing that I couldn't figure out the last strap.
