Bosch3310 Premium Oil Filter with FILTECH Filtration Technology - Compatible with Select Subaru Forester, Impreza, Legacy

With prices of oil filters going through the roof. This Bosch filter is good quality, fits like OEM and is half the price. A no brainer.

Bosch Filters are one of my go to filters for my 96 Subaru Legacy. These filters are not for long oil change intervals though. I would go, at most, about 5-7 thousand miles on synthetic. And that is really pushing it. (Which with good synthetic oils, you can go 10k and with extended performance, you can get 15k.) My car has very little wear at 200k on the engine. It is an EJ22. My short list of approve filters include this, Purlator One or Winx XP, (a step up) Royal Purple or Mobile One (for extended oil changes, which I normally do these day.) However, I am using this filter for a short change interval after a partial rebuild.

Excellent product that I have been using on my 2001 2.5L Subaru Outback. At over 200,000 she still runs like a champ. Not sure why other reviewers say they have had issues with leaking filters. I've gone through at least 15 of these filters once I switched from FRAM and have had no problems.
