I.C. Collections Little Girls White Slip Above the Knee

This slip is exactly what I was hoping for quality wise, but sizing is confusing. There's no size guide listed here for what xxs, xs, s, etc. correlate to. I guessed that xs may be about my daughter's size of a 5/6 based on the length I was hoping to achieve and reviews of the product, but that was incorrect. XS arrived and it was clearly labeled 3T on the tag. If I was looking for a true above the knee slip for my size 5/6 daughter, xs (3T) would have been about the correct size. In the picture I have the straps adjusted to their longest length, but if they were at their shortest this slip would fit mid-thigh. I was hoping for below the knee length, so I am going to try the size small. My best guesses for numeric sizes to correlate with the generic sizes are: xxs=2T; xs=3T; s=4/5; m=6/7; l=8/10; xl=12/14? These are just guesses. And again, if you want a true above the knee slip, you should probably size down a size or two. If you are looking for below the knee to tea length, I would say order their true size. I will update this review once my size small comes in to see what number is officially printed on the tag and pass that info along. That said, this slip is a nice weight and will provide a nice, non-sheer underlayer and a little fullness to dresses. There are a few stray strings around the bottom where the eyelet is sewn to the rest of the slip, but not a deal breaker. Seller, please include an accurate size guide and make sure your product descriptions are correct so us poor parents and grandparents aren't scouring reviews to try to find out what size our kids actually need. Was looking for a slip to use on my daughter under a beautiful crocheted dress my mother made! This one was perfect!

This hits my girl at the ankle not at the knee.

Having read previous reviews that stated the product was too long, I opted for the 24 month size instead of the 2 yr size. They are different, and since my two year old is petite for her age, most of her clothes are the 24 month variety instead of the 2T. The slip is light and comfortable and is perfect under dresses that are a bit too sheer or dresses that are scratchy. My little one wants to run around slip only she finds it so comfy. I'll buy it again in a larger size as soon as she grows.

The true length of this slip is -oh- ANKLE LENGTH. We ordered a size 4 and ended up selling it to a friend who has a larger 6 yr old and it fit her just fine (below- knee length). So be advised- it is LONG and also wide- in general- it runs about 2 sizes too big. The material is a nice white cotton and would have been great if it had fit.

these were ideal for the cute summer dress that my granddaughter couldn't fit in the summer but could fit by the fall. Just add this slip and a cute sweater with tights or leggings and still a great outfit for the season :) Very happy with this purchase it fit as specified

For those people who are complaining about the size being too big or whatever I would HIGHLY recommend looking at the SIZE CHART available that gives the sizes according to HEIGHT and WEIGHT. If you know the child's measurements then you should be able to find the perfect fit. Really takes the guess work out of ordering, etc. I looked at the size chart and ordered accordingly and was not disappointed, it was a perfect fit, as well as a nicely made slip.

This is a nice slip but too long. I bought a size 4 for my petite 5 year old. The fit was fine but I had to take a hem in it which I will let down later. I thought it was expensive for a little girls slip.
