The tailgate latch on my 2002 Trailblazer with 445,000 original miles on it finally broke. I read about others breaking after less than 200,000 miles so I'm guess I'm really lucky I take care of my EXT. It was easier to install than I imagines because of how hard it was to get to the old broken one and remove it. The installation was very easy and it has been working great. I've been very happy with my Trailblazer and have always taken excellent care of my vehicles. I hope I can make it to 1,000,000 miles. Great actuator, great price and does the job.

I bought this to replace the rusted/seized actuator in my Envoy. It fit directly in place of the original and has worked well for the handful of months since installation. Be sure that any adjustments to the linkages are made for the glass hatch lock before you put the panel back in place, mine needed a small adjustment, but it was easy to do and hasn't been an issue since.

Tried it at the price point, and was surprised at the decent quality. Installed in about 15 mins in my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer easily. Now the hatch light is off and it still works great after a few months. Pray it continues to work.

if you know what youre doing, or at least watch a quick video you will have no problem installing this yourself. I have had no issues with it so far and it works very well! I dont need to back right up to our fence at night anymore now that our vehicle completely locks.

Well it locks but sadly rest of other application like rear wiper doesn't work now when it did and my fob won't lock the vehicle as well
