My husband recently had a very, very bad case of poison ivy, or sumac or oak! It was in too many places to list here and it was bad enough to require a visit to the derm doc. After getting a steroid shot and a script for steroid ointment we headed home to change the dressings and get the steroid cream on it all to do it's job. That meant a ton of bandages (gauze pads, rolled gauze, self sticking bandage wrappings and lots of paper tape. Oh, and blue rubber gloves. Getting the bandages on was time consuming and so was getting them off - UNTIL this awesome pair of scissors showed up. It turned out to be a life saver - for me and my husband. It slid gently under the dressings and cut through the gauze wraps and paper tape with ease. They feel very strong, they are sharp, the grip is very comfortable, and the thumb and finger fittings are a nice size. I would highly recommend them.

Cuts through athletic tape like a hot knife through butter.

Cuts bandages and duct tape. Good for larger hands. We have been using them on animals with bandages we have to cover with duct tape to keep dogs and cats from chewing on them. They cut right through and still cut fine tape and gauze.

For what it is and how it seems, I can’t complain, cuts nicely and easily, the only thing is that it does feel a little bit flimsy, but not to the point that it’ll break upon actual use but wear and tear would get to it quick.

Was a paramedic most of my life, just wanted to have a pair in the truck...You never know...They are incredible, go ahead, cut a penny in half with them. This is illegal, of course, but I have seen it done! This is not a toy!

Use them every day and they have heals up great. Other than me losing them, I see no need to replace them after several months of use like I have had to do with other similar products. They also stay sharp.

These are hands down the best scissors I have ever used. We were amazed how strong they are, I was able to cut through a pair of Jean's easily. Also very comfortable and not too bulky, quality seems very good as well.

I keep one for everyday use. Big, black looks cools and very functional.
