It was sent quickly, works as designed, priced right, easy to add to my system, excellent quality for the price, very quiet, and easy to connect! It’s been ages since I used hitachi drives but their enterprise level drives really deliver! I’m impressed on how smooth it works, and how easy was to connect and use all that extra storage!!! It works cool and hasn’t shown any signs of errors so far! It’s timing in a desktop with tons of pictures, replacing a 2TB drive that now is the backup. I’m used to other brands and had just forgotten hitachi, but highly recommend them based on my experience with this one! Seller packed it very well, sent all the paperwork for warranty, and make all look neat! Kudos! Overall, a great experience with the seller and the product! Noisy. But, It has the capacity that I want and the speed that I want. I Transferred over 12 TB in less than a day and have indexed all the files and created numerous sub folders. It formatted and connected without any problems.

Ordered this thinking I would be receiving a new Toshiba 10TB drive. First one was a rebranded Dell (made by Toshiba), but was dead on arrival. When powered up, computer didnt recognize and I could hear a constant clicking coming from the drive. Second one works juat fine, but on powerup I looked at the smart attributes, this drive has been poweres up for almost a year. Certainly wasnt buying a used drive. Buyer beware.

I found one of these, left over from a previous project. It had operated under heavy use for several years and sat on a shelf for several more years. I found (removing old data) that was still shockingly reliable even after other HDs of the same size and age were dying or dead. So I decided that when I put together my new NAS I use the same brand and type if available. Turns out, with a few improvements, they still sell the same kind! So I populated my NAS with more of these. I was pleased not only with performance, but with the reasonable price! I highly recommend them.

Installed this in my ubiquiti udm pro. It is a little loud but has been working fine for over a month. For the price it is a good deal I would say.

Works great with Ugreen NAS, makes some noise but it is working properly .

I use this drive in an external enclosure to download files to it then move them to another location. It has been working very well and has been very reliable since it arrived. As for durability, that is to be determined as time goes by, but I don't expect any issues with that. HDD issues usually show up within the first month of service.
