NEW Combo BLUWAVS CD and FLAC FILE Review: A really fun beginning for a truly great band. - Rhcp has been my favorite band since I was a kid my 1st cd I ever bought was californication when it 1st came out. So of course I bought the other albums as well and their early stuff is truly awesome. The mix of funk, punk, and metal is great hopefully someday they do another album like this one freaky styley and mofo party plan. Review: Gold - Now, I adore every single RHCP creation, so there is no way I could ever be objective or critical of them. I adore this album because it was the start of everything. After all these years, I think Green Heaven is one of Anthony's masterpieces as far as lyrics go. And True Men has a gritty funk that is pretty exclusive to this album out of the whole RHCP discography. Songs like Baby Appeal and Buckle Down are just plain fun to listen to. In general, it's just a fun album to get up and jump around to.

The Bare Roots
Most people know the red hot chili peppers because of their Californiacation or maybe Blood sugar sex magik albums, either way those are pretty modern perspectives on a band that's been around for 20+ years. So heres the beginnings, and as basic as they are (poor producing) the real musical talent and genius benhind the songs really shines through. Though the origianl guitarist HIllel Slovak is not present and is replaced by the somewhat bland playing of Jack Sherman the same message of pure raw energy and funky vibe is still translated. Not only are the orginal tracks on here, some of the chili's first recordings are included which is awesome. I have to admit, as a modern chili peppers fan, i was skeptical after a few listens, even thinking it was kinda silly sounding, i have more recently found the cool in this album and can't put it down. RED HOT ROCKS!!

Powerful Funk!!!
This is one of the RHCP's albums where they just wanted to have fun. Very powerful bass and strong vocals. Even the sound in general is not the best, I think a Chili Pepper fan would enjoy it, there are songs like True Men Dont' Kill Coyotes or Get Up And Jump with amazing bass lines. The album also includes some demo tracks originally recorded with Hillel Slovak and Jack Irons, and in the booklet (like in the others remastered albums) have a little story written by Flea and the lyrics of the songs. In general, is a great album for being their debut work and a great way to see how was L.A. music back in the 80's. =D

a relatively underrated album
The Red Hot Chili Peppers is considered to be one of RHCP's more unpopular albums. It contains a juvenile sound that is a perfect debut compared to their subsequent albums that contain a more mature sound. It is obvious that this album is a major influence on all future RHCP albums because of its distinctive funk style.

Klare kaufempfehlung!
