Good upgrade

It took some tinkering, but managed to get it to work like it should. The problem was mine, not the product. If you have brush guards, you may have an installation problem with throttle free movement.

Throttle seems well made good aluminum but sticks a lot and could be better quality specifications the internal cover jams up the throttle unless you loosen it for better play

It’s a good quick turn/quick throttle, easy to install, de burr any sharp edges or smooth the edges, metal to metal contact use lubricant or grease, the two piece throttle tube is different.. not entirely sure if I like that but make sure to use lock tight, the see through window is cool make sure to not over tighten it because it may add friction to throttle cable and feel like it’s sticking so use lock tight on that bolt as well, fit for 7/8 inch(22mm) handle bars, make sure to use a plastic donut between the throttle tube housing and grip to prevent throttle sticking. Some things to check if throttle is sticking: Clamp is un-even or too tight, viewing window screw is too tight, throttle tube is binding or grinding on throttle tube housing, grip is rubbing against throttle tube housing, cable is kinked or worn or need lubricant, check throttle cable between carb and throttle tube, lube? Grease? If needed.

So I only just installed this but I needed a throttle to replace my stock. Something more sturdy and adjustable. This thing has MIlES of adjustability and sturdy aluminum parts. If you have a Chinese bike like an ice bear champion (Honda 70 clone) then this is a newscast upgrade for cheap. I don’t know why anyone would trip. Granted, I haven’t had it more than 5 minutes.

It's easy to instal because it's design flaws might get someone, some youth rider injured possibly! Possibly worse!... the cable they sent with it there is so much cable slack they added a smaller tentioner extending 2" screwed into the first tentioner both had to be fully adjusted out and doesnt take up the slack the cable keeps sliding off the top of the disk... this roller is aluminum groove is too big for the size of cable sent with this. All aluminum inside and out, the only tiny sealed roller bearing involved is the small one that the groved wheel on top you see with the nice but fragile plex glass window to view the ill fit mechenizism... aluminum on aluminum moving parts that have sloppy fit tollerance, will wear out prematurely, tiny alappear to hy will grind and grind until gainst each other while so it creates tiny shavings that can get down into the carburator through the cable inside... this is a problematic piece of Chineez best... Set up nice on an old AMF Harley that I’m having to piece back to life don’t tighten the glass to much or you may see some cracks but mine only did after a little to much and a strong throttle pull, quickly figured out and looking just fine for me, the gold is very grabbing and still has a nice feel which is all I need as a lifetime rider

Fit is moderate at best, after a lot of filing it still sticks at most positions and is sketchy on return.. Finish is great, looks amazing except for the little plastic window was broken upon delivery... All in all, not as quick of a turn/upgrade from the factory one as I would have liked, might be returning it. Also the first time it “shipped” I received a completely EMPTY envelope in the mail.
