I have quite a few Kaweco pens and pencils and all are ingenious and a joy to use. This one, particularly in anodized silver, is a work of art. Actually, I bought it to use as a ballpoint as it accepts G2 style refills, but occasionally use it as intended, as a gel roller. It is extremely comfortable in the hand owing to its smooth, almost creamy and luxurious finish.

Excellent pen! I carry it with me every day.

Great quality pen however it’s small

Kaweco is always a good "old reliable" pen, and this is no exception. The surface is lovely and smooth, and it feels great in the hand. Not too heavy, not too light. And for the price, it's an excellent buy. Just be careful of length when you order rollerball or ballpoint refills. These are shorter pens than some of the standards.

Nice. I love the texture - it's a little "rough" so that your hand won't slip. (I have other Kawecos that are annoyingly slippery.) I got this to put ballpoint refill but I find that I like the gel that it comes with. The ink is water resistant (not waterproof) and is good to use for shadows.

Love this pen! It is a nice weight, lovely satin gray aluminum finish. It writes smoothly and fits in my hand comfortably. It is a bit chunky but I like that. I already ordered pen refills so I don’t run out. I have purchased Kaweco fountain pens before but this is my first rollerball and my expectations have been exceeded! Thanks Amazon and Kaweco!

This pencil is both practical and very well made. The design is spectacular, quite thick with a good weight to it and of excellent quality. If you're a lover of mechanical pencils, this is one for you. Very well packaged and presented too - so, perfect for a gift as well!

Sarò di parte avendo 22 Kaweco Sport, 20 stilografiche e due roller, una Classic nera e questa oggetto della recensione. Essendo di parte come amante e collezionista di questo specifico modello di penne, posso solo esaltarne le qualità dato che personalmente non hanno difetti. La penna in questione ha come tutte le Sport un perfetto bilanciamento, una ergonomia che difficilmente ha concorrenti e una lavorazione e rifinitura eccellente. Ovviamente queste le sensazioni che provo io con la mia mano, ognuno può avere le proprie preferenze in base all'impugnatura, dimensioni della mano, ecc... Chiusa misura esattamente 10,7cm, aperta con cappuccio alzato 13,3cm, la sola penna senza cappuccio 10,1cm ma sconsiglio di usarla senza cappuccio scalzato perché risulterebbe troppo corta per mani medie. Io ad esempio avendo mani di media misura pur potendolo usare senza cappuccio, la preferisco con cappuccio alzato perché oltre ad usarla meglio il bilanciamento è più equilibrato. Ho allegato delle foto dove si può evincere un piccolo accorgimento per migliorarla nell'uso, ovvero calzare sul refill un piccolo tubo in gomma tagliato su tutto il lato per non farlo frizionare troppo sul refill stesso e poterlo sfilare una volta esaurito ed usare il piccolo tubo su altro refill. Questo accorgimento permette di usare la penna senza il fastidiosi "ticchettio" durante la scrittura dovuto alla punta del refill che sbatte sul foro di uscita della penna. Il tubetto ovviamente non deve arrivare ad incastrarci nella sezione anteriore. Nelle foto si può notare un refill di altra nota marca americana che produce refill pressurizzati per poter scrivere anche a penna in su (anche in assenza di gravità in spazio aperto, ma dubito che proverò mai, ma sto in fiducia), si può vedere anche un altro refill che uso nella Sport Classic dove anziché il tubetto in gomma ho usato del nastro carta, una soluzione un po' più semplice ma una volta finito il refill dubito di riutilizzare lo stesso nastro, il tubetto diventa invece un componente della penna. I regill sono i classici G2 che si possono trovare nelle comuni penne roll ball, quelle a scatto per capirci, questi refill li preferisco ai soliti refill per penne roller perché quest'ultimo hanno un inchiostro molto liquido e su molte, se non dire tutte le carte, danno un fastidioso effetto ghosting sul retro del foglio (cosa che succede anche con alcuni refill gel), con questi refill G2 classici questo non capita quasi mai (a meno che non si usi carta di grammatura molto bassa). Sono un collezionista e appassionato di penne e carte, e dal mio personale giudizio posso solo consigliare il prodotto. This is super overpriced as a pen for sure but I love it. It’s a practical accessory. It’s metal and already distressed so you don’t have to worry about blemishing it. The weight is neither too heavy nor too light. I wish the ink refill came in fine but I replaced it with Schneider Gelion 39 in blue. I still use the black ink it came with in a Rotring pen.
