I've been using this to cure shrimp for about 2 months now and so far it outfishes the other baits and cures that I had been using while out ice fishing. There are days on the lake where I'm the only one catching fish, which quite frankly gives me a bit of a grin. I buy a frozen cocktail shrimp ring, thaw 3 shrimp. Peel the tail off and pat them semi-dry with paper towel. Cut them into bite size pieces and place into a snack size ziploc. Sprinkle liberally with the cure and give it the old shake' n' bake treatment so everything get's coated. Let it sit on the table for about an hour, then put them into the fridge to cure over night. The shrimp come out a vibrant pink and three shrimp tends to last me a full weekend of fishing. You can leave the shrimp in the bag or transfer to a smaller container and drain off the liquid. Be aware that if you leave it in the bag your fingers will stain a bit as you reach in to get pieces. It's not nearly as bad if you put the bait in a smaller container and drain the liquid. Sometimes I add a bit of scent when the fish are being extra fickle, but for the most part it's a cure and go kind of thing. I'd also like to add that these come in 16oz containers. I had a bit of trouble finding the info on the size and ordered two. I now have A LOT of cure. Good thing it works!
