My cat has long thick fur and this brush just slid along the top and wouldn't get to the tangles. It is as if the bristles are too close together. Donated to the shelter.

I like the brush and the fact that it has protection on the ends of the pins but both of my cats have long fur that is too thick for this to be effective.But for daily brushing it will work as they are so old and kind of bony. Good construction of brush so far.

My long hair cats like it....

This is an excellent brush for both long and short hair cats, plus the added protection of plastic tips means it won't hurt delicate skin. This is my third one, and I will buy again.

I have a Persian and this doesn't seem to go through her hair very well. It kind of grabs it and pulls it out or it gets nothing at all. I bought it b/c my kitten was not like the sharper bristles of another popular cat brush, but this one isn't getting much use. Maybe if the bristles were longer?

Nice and smooth brushing for my long-haired cat and the dogs too.

This cat brush is just okay. It does get a good amount of cat hair off my cat but I've had other brushes that work better and get more hair.

Did not work on either of my cats who have verydifferent coats. I returned it.

My Kitty Isabelle hates being brushed, always tried being gentle but she still hates it, welp in come this brush, I've never heard her purr so much, she see's me holding it and runs over and jumps on my lap.Problem is unless I'm brushing against the grain it doesn't work as a brush, as a kitty massage 100% effective. despite it not working for hair removal still giving it 5 stars.

It is not that big, so you can comb under the neck and around the ears with no problems. It is amazing how much hair comes out of a cat everyday.

Does not remove fur at all. I was looking for a softer bristled brush as the wire brushes are too sharp for my cat. Does not do anything except maybe give her a bit of a backrub.
