The Legend Continues...
In one of the biggest (and greatest) Legend of Zelda games of all time, our hero embarks on one of the most epic and unexpected adventure imaginable. Our story begins in the land of Hyrule in the small village of Ordon. A young man of seventeen embarks on a journey to save his friends, others, and ultimately the entire land, when evil from the land of Twilight envelopes the kingdom, turning it into perpetual twilight, where light ceases to exist...Play as either Link or Wolf Link as you progress through the game. (Note: Towards the beginning of the game, you will not have a choice. Gameplay will follow a specific pattern until a certain point. Then you will be able to transform at will.) Also, (as in previous Loz games), you can name your character (and your horse) whatever you choose. (For simplicity, I will just refer to him as Link.) As Wolf Link, use your instincts (senses) to discover hidden objects and areas. As Link, use an assortment of weapons and gadgets, ranging from your classic array of arrows and bombs to new ones like the spinner. (Don't worry, I won't tell you what it does.)Defeat a variety of enemies, solve puzzles, and explore both familiar lands (like Gerudo Desert, Kakariko Village, and Lake Hylia) and new lands in a whole new way. Not only is the scope of this game extraordinary, but it is also simply beautiful and breathtaking in its details. (I thought "Ocarina of Time" was amazing, but there is no comparison between the two when it comes to this aspect. "Twilight Princess wins hands down.Speaking of which, I can not say whether this is the best LoZ game or not. In my humble opinion, it is my favorite so far. (I have only played about three or four other LoZ games.) Anyway, it is a fun game that will not disappoint. I have enjoyed every moment of this game and will probably play it over again."Twilight Princess" is rated Teen for Animated Blood and Fantasy Violence. Some bosses might be scary or difficult for some. Puzzles can be somewhat difficult for younger ones (tweens and young teens). (Hey, you might find them difficult yourself.) If you are worried about the game content or looking for an age guide to this game, it is highly recommended you look up parent reviews for this game to determine if this is right for you and your family.Overall, just a really fun and exciting game.

My first Zelda since the "original" first, I LOVED IT!
I purchased a WII for my kids enjoyment, and they love it. This game I purchased for me and I LOVE IT. It started out feeling like it would be impossible to get Link to do anything right, the sword maneuvers or any of the plethora of tasks correctly but as addictive as it is to play you get the hang of it really quickly. There are annoying glitches and times when you can't see what your supposed to be doing or hitting or grabbing but I still loved it. I must admit that sometimes I would get majorly stuck and had to go to the computer for a cheat to help me move forward. But one of the funnest things about the game where the side puzzles and mazes to find, figuring out how to get that crazy treasure that seems so hard to get. Also the progression of figuring it out, monsters I thought I would never beat that now seem so simple. There is everything fishing, snowboarding, flying, canoeing, riding a horse, life as wolf ( oh the hard time's trying to howl the tune just right).. Oh man, the ride to get the wagon to the village drove me CRAZY I thought I would never get the game past that point, it took me a whole day, trying to ride a horse throw a boomerang keep up with a wagon and then clear the path to the village gate, the worst and hardest thing about the whole game for me! But I can't imagine a better game to have for the wii, we have approximately 20 games and this and Super Mario Bros. are my top two(but I don't go and play Super Marios like Zelda haven't played it since I bought the wii a year ago, where Zelda has me playing it everyday!), my girls love Just Dance and Michale Jackson Experience but as an adult I found a game that made the Wii something for Mama too!

Zelda continues to impress
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I felt is was a natural progression from Ocarina in terms of gameplay, graphics, and storyline. (Huh? What is this "Majora's Mask" you speak of?)+ Decent graphics, for a GameCube port made 5 years ago.+ Good story, the most in depth of any Zelda game to date. There are references to earlier Zelda games, and previous Links.+ An interesting twist with Wolf Link and the shadow realm.+ Epic good vs evil battle at the end. The final cut scenes wrap up the game nicely.- In my opinion, this is endemic to the Zelda series as a whole. There is simply not much obvious challenge to beating the game. There were difficult parts; however, most of the bosses were easy. Sadly, Ganon was among the easiest. The final fight was at least enjoyable. I haven't yet set foot in the Cave of Ordeals, but then what is the point? The things it unlocks are completely unnecessary. I rarely find myself using any sort of potions or other refill objects.- Motion controls. I'm sure with practice, it would be nice, but I just can't get the hang of the Bow & Arrow controls using the Wiimote. I resorted to using the thumbstick instead, and it works quite well. Trying to perform a spin slash attack by shaking the nunchuck is often quite frustrating. The motion isn't registered half of the time, which can get annoying when surrounded by enemies.- Clowns. I hate clowns. All in all, I am quite pleased with Twilight Princess as a whole. It is a very enjoyable and lengthy game. I don't understand Nintendo's graphical decisions with Skyward Sword, but hopefully that game proves to be a worthy successor to Princess.
