Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Skin/Food Sensitivities Dry Cat Food, Hydrolyzed Chicken, 8.5 lb. Bag

My Siamese cat has a sensitive stomach & she can’t eat whatever because she’ll vomit it out. Took her to the vet and they recommended this food, and ever since then she has been the happiest girl ever. It smells like real food, she digests it super well, and she also loves it. A good size, and it’s not too hard but also not too soft, the perfect softness. With this food, she has gotten super fluffy, gotten to her perfect weight, and does such a good job of keeping her nurtured. Although it’s expensive, I love it since it keeps her healthy and happy, since it does the performance it says. Thank science for that!

This is great for my kitty, helps with digestion. Kitty was really struggling to keep her food down and was throwing up multiple times a week. She is a senior cat and I was very concerned about her weight and overall health. I took her to the vet and we found that she has an underlying issue with her digestive organs and needed a food that would be gentle on her body, but also give her sustenance and the nutrients she needs. We got a sample from the vet, the dry kibble and a wet patte version. My cat is INCREDIBLY picky when it comes to food. We tried the wet patte, which she sniffed twice, stared at us unimpressed, and walked away - clear sign that she would not be eating the patte. THANK GOODNESS we had the dry kibble, which she started gobbling up right away. She has been on this food for several years and we haven't had any issues. Her vomiting has subsided to once or twice a month, which her vet said is okay; its a huge improvement from before she started this food. She has also gained some weight, which is also a plus. She's still a small little lady, but she is defiantly feeling better and is thriving on her new food. It is really easy to order, just have to have your vet approve the order and then amazon ships it. Super easy and streamlined process.

I've noticed my cute cat finch has become happier than ever after this food. Normally he needs food with water in it, but he doesn't mind with this food. He has become a lot happier and less anxious since he started eating it, and I think it might be helping with his dental issues. Overall I'm really just happy to see him feeling healthy and the fact that he loves the taste of the food

This food has been life changing for me and my cat. He is 15 years old and for 15 years, he vomited almost daily. My family tried everything. We took him to every vet in our area. They all said it was due to hairballs. We tried so many different kinds of hairball remedies. We also tried many different foods on the market. Some things helped him to stop the daily vomiting but it would still happen a few times a week. Not only did we have ruined carpets but more importantly we had an incredibly uncomfortable kitty. It broke my heart that he would suffer so much. Last year, we found yet another vet, who listened to my concerns about the past vet suggestions not working. To be told that nothing was wrong with my cat and he was just a vomiter had never sat well with me. This vet thought he had certain food allergies and recommended this food. She said to try it and see how it goes. I bought both the wet and dry stuff. At first, he wouldn't touch it. He detested the cans. And he detested the dry food. He begged me every day to give him his old food back. I mixed the old food in with the new dry food and eventually after many stubborn days he got used to it. He never warmed up to the wet food, so I donated that to an animal shelter. But this dry food has seriously changed all of our lives. He no longer vomits. I never see him curled up in the corner gagging. My heart no longer breaks at that sight because it simply doesn't happen. He seems so much more comfortable now. I am so happy. My vet no longer carries this particular Sensitivies one, so I need to purchase it from Amazon and I'm very thankful it is always in stock, is reasonably priced, and arrives on time. I cannot recommend this brand enough for pets with sensitive stomachs. Not only is my cat healthier but I don't have to clean any more carpets or throw away vomit-stained comforters!

My cat is 6 years old. I got her from a shelter 3 years ago. When I got her, she was fat, and although affectionate, was prone to stress. From the get-go she had issues with constipation so my vet put her on Hill's ID. About 6 months ago she began vomiting and wouldn't eat. After all the tests, she was diagnosed with IBD, so ZD is the diet she needs. She loves the ID, but isn't too keen on the ZD, though she is eating it now. Initially I mixed the ZD and ID and I'd find the ZD all over the floor and the ID completely eaten. I still mix a small amount of ID in with the ZD to entice her to eat more. She otherwise ignores her food if I only put ZD in her bowl. I'm giving ZD 4 stars because it's helping my cat but the food is apparently so flavorless that she tolerates it, but doesn't like it much.

Great vat food foy cat with a sensitive tunny. He eats exclusively this food and it stays in his tummy much better than normal food.

I moved and couldn't find a vet locally so I ordered off Amazon. Arrived quick which was my main concern. However even on sale at $175 (regular price currently 196) this is still drastically more expensive then ordering though a vet or other sites online (the only bonus is speed of delivery) 3/5 due to price In terms food quality... I was recommended this by my vet. My cat use to vomit on a regular basis, this has help alot to reduce the amount she vomits. I tried the Purina HA but my cat wouldn't eat it. She loves this food though

No soy fanática de hills, si no todo lo contrario, no creo que sea el mejor alimento, pero en mi caso, mi gato tiene IBD y necesita comer puro hidrolizado. En México no hay mucha más opción que hills, Royal canin o proplan, todos hidrolizados de soja. No le quita su problema pero lo lleva mejor que comiendo proteína normal.
