Goson Aviator Sunglasses for Men and Women, UV400 Protection, Retro Style, Great for Driving, Outdoor Activities

I am very satisfied with this purchase from Gravity Trading. The glasses arrived sooner than expected. They look exactly like the first pair of sunglasses that Josh S. showed in his video review. They are shiny, they fit perfect on me, they are indeed reflective and mirrored, and they are silver, and they are a good size - not too obnoxiously big or too small. The mirrors are so good that I can use them as a portable mirror anywhere I go haha. You definitely look good in these. This item arrived with small scratches on the lenses and some visible dirt, but I was luckily able to rub them out and they look brand new. To anyone who looks at you, these look like top quality authentic aviator sunglasses. However, if you handle them, you can tell they are cheap, and you get what you pay for. They are flimsy and it feels like it can easily break. When holding these you can tell they are made of cheap material. But if you take good care of these, I'm sure they can last you. So far I have had these for the whole summer, and they still look good. I've gotten them wet at the beach and the film has not seemed to wear out or lose its reflectiveness. I have to also say that these glasses make the world very dark, it is hard to see with these especially when you are indoors. When you wear it at first, it seems as if its too dark. But over time you just get used to them. I am able to wear these even when I am driving and even when its cloudy. The darkness of the shades can get annoying sometimes though, but these were designed mostly for style and fashion I guess. The fact that you look so good when you wear these makes up for the con of it being hard to see on days with less sunshine. I will upload some pictures of the sunglasses I received later. Originally, I purchased these sunglasses in Jan. 2012 from WorldWideDynasty Inc. with fulfillment by Amazon. The glasses were truly like mirrors and exactly what I was looking for.Unfortunately I lost the glasses and reordered the EXACT same item at end of April 2012 (clicked on my old order to get to item) - and came from the same seller.Unfortunately the glasses I received were not even half as mirrored. They have some mirror to them, but it is not as reflective and you can see through them more with far more gray tint in the reflection. Not bad looking, but just not totally mirrored like I was looking for. And not a mirrored as in the main picture.I closely compared the new pair to pictures of me in the prior glasses and there are slight differences in the nose element, the rounding of the lenses, and the position where the arm attaches to the lens. The differences are slight, but essentially the glasses are definitely different and probably from a different manufacturer (as opposed to a mere quality control issue).My original pair was as reflective as the main picture, my second pair was not. I even found the original shipping receipts and the SKU is the same.Oddly when looking today, the item officially shows a different seller. So I wonder if Amazon almost considered this item "mirrored aviators" somehow interchangeable -- even thought there is no real brand name here. I assume these are somewhat generic and are made in China, but these was absolutely no info or stickers on the glasses.So my 2nd experience is similar to the popular video review attached to this item. Just not as mirrored or as good as my first pair. My first were great.So essentially, ordering these glasses for their mirrored quality is a $5 crap shoot. You might get a "great pair", or you might get a "not so great" pair. I assume that is why the ratings are so inconsistent.The new pair isn't horrible, so I gave it 3 stars, it's only "kind of mirrored".

Coming from a female with an average size face.. The sunglasses arrived in perfect condition actually three days earlier than what the tracking number estimated. Some of the negative comments included that they were too dark, well they are a little darker than most of my sunglasses, but if you are out in the sun they are perfect. I certainly wouldn't wear these inside, or any other sunglasses for that matter. Why would you? They are a little too dark for an overcast day. They had 0 scratches on them and fit perfectly. I did appreciate the review saying that they were fragile and parts could break off easily and I have been extra careful with mine for that reason. They are a little more delicate, but just be gentle with them. I treat them the same way I treat any other aviators I have owned, with extra care. The whole reason for my purchase of these, I have the exact same pair from Ray ban's, was to wear them whitewater rafting. Yep, these sunglasses have been through class 4 rapids! Actually it was our guide's goal (who thought it was hilarious) to get them to fly off my face, which they did, several times. I had 0 issues with them breaking, bending, and now that we are home from our weekend trip I have actually worn these more than my Ray ban's. The cool factor of these sunglasses, sun protection, along with the price, offers a piece of mind if they were to ever break or bend, or if I were to lose them, well they were three dollars! I highly recommend them. Actually I plan on ordering several more pairs. Perfect!
