My favorite kitty litter scoop of all time. In my opinion, the best.
Oh my God, it’s so funny! I LOVE this kitty litter scoop. Best I’ve ever used. The slots are wide enough for the litter to sift through easily and quickly. I used to have a crappy inexpensive, kitty litter scoop, it worked OK, but I thought I would try and switch to Catalyst wood clumping kitty litter. You really gotta shake that stuff for it to come through the grate. I tried to modify my cheap litter scoop by filing the spaces wider. It only worked marginally better. A friend of mine got a iPrimio scoop and when I first tried it, I thought “oh my God this is the best scoop I ever used”! The tines were further apart than all of my previous scoops. But I didn’t like how HEAVY it was. When I went to Amazon to buy it, people commented on how heavy (confirmation) it is and a lot of people said that the handle falls off. I think it’s relatively more expensive than this one. One person in the reviews named this kitty litter scoop specifically so I thought I’d check it out. I love it. It’s one-piece good strong plastic. The tines are spaced perfectly. It’s far less than expensive than a good many of the other options. I bought one of the welded wire scoops, but I didn’t realize how huge it is. I returned it thank God.

BEST SCOOPER EVER
Best litter scooper by a long shot. Digs deep and gets it all. Ver sturdy and efficient. Sifts quickly. Litter doesn’t stick to it.

Actually DOES save time and effort - here’s why
I had been recommended this scooper and was skeptical of it really making much difference, not to mention unwilling to spend the $$ since I fairly recently bought an expensive deep stainless steel scooper. But so many recommended it, especially with Dr. Elyses litter, which I switched to a few months ago and love, that I decided to try it. Somehow it really DOES slide much more easily through the litter. It picks up smaller bits. If your cats leave everything near the surface (like mine do) it is even easier to slide this through the pan and clean everything up. It did cut down on the time I spent scooping deeply with my deeper scoop. I was concerned that it might not be as durable (surely it’s not as durable as steel) but it feels sturdier than I expected. I don’t have an idea yet if/when it might fail and break, but the fact that it skims lightly (1) puts less stress on the scooper so it’s likely to last much longer than a comparable plastic deep scoop would, and (2) is scooping less litter volume more easily so that while it’s not as ergonomically shaped as my other one, it’s actually much easier to use and less stress on the wrist. I’ll probably order another one to have as a backup in case this one DOES break someday since I’ve decided I don’t want to be without one. And since I scoop 4 boxes, I can just keep it with the one that’s further away so I don’t have to carry a scoop through the house. Oh one other thing - it may be that my litter box was dirtier than I like to let it get (I prefer to scoop several times a day but it had been over a day with multiple cats preferring THAT box) ... but it did break a clump and some stuck to the scoop. I think that would have happened with pretty much any kind of scoop at that point, but in the interest of being complete I thought I’d mention it. It cleans easily though.

Faster, easier litter cleaning
Long scoop and wider space between the tines enables the scoop to process greater volume with each scoop and the litter falls through faster, shortening the time and effort to clean the litter. The straighter handle angle allows better alignment of hand/wrist force with the blade on the end for more quickly "plunging" the scoop in and less effort to lift up and allow litter to fall through. Less clogging of the scoop as crud gets stuck to it over time compared with standard scoop (I've had many), also less litter moves when doing it so less spilling litter out of the box when working quickly. Would like one of these made of metal - but they would never need to sell another one! This is pretty sturdy, mine only recently developed cracks after using it to clean up after 8 cats for 3.5 years. The wife puts too much litter in the box so deeper pile & more weight of litter to sift probably added more strain than it was designed for, so I am not deducting a star. I'm writing this review due to needing to buy another because of the wear from over 3 years of very heavy use. As to the remarks from other reviews complaining about the square corners not fitting rounded litter boxes, this is a compromise in the design to achieve the aforesaid performance, and is easily overcome with proper technique. Just aim well and jiggle a bit to coax the corner clumps into the scoop. It will take a little practice but totally worth the significant gain in time savings for an unpleasant chore.

A great litter scoop.
This litter scoop allows you to quickly sift all of the litter in your box with minimal dust disturbance and without an arm workout. I had one that lasted 5+ years before it snapped at the handle. Considering the price, I'd say that is a very respectable service life. I purchased two more; one to use now and one to have on hand as a backup.

Good scoop
It’s an excellent scoop and works as advertised. I do wish it was a little bit shorter. I use a litter genie and it’s hard to dump the contents into the top of the container.

Best litter scooper ever!!!
I think I’m beginning to bore and weird out my friends/family with my ravings on this litter scooper so it’s time for a review!! I’ve used different kinds from ones that extend so I don’t have to bend, to sole with longer handles, metal, plastic, etc. but this one is a winner!!!! I saw a video on YouTube by AllAboutCatsYT and couldn’t understand the hype about this scooper so I bought it on a whim since I hated the extendable scooper I got (fyi don’t get those you still have to bend cause the darn things never stay extended). I was so shocked by how well it performed. It was able to scrape the bottom of the litter box because my old gal has kidney issues and pees a ton. This is something that every previous scooper I’ve used sucked at. Due to its design the scooper also didn’t waste a whole bunch of excess litter and it was easy to shake off “salvageable” litter and collect the waste perfectly (this inflation is killing me with the cat supplies). I use Dr. Elsey litter with this and the litter box is so nice, clean, and has had a noticeable difference in smell because it really scrapes off the bottom of the box. The handle is nice too. At first I thought the scooper portion was excessively long and would break but it is really sturdy and doesn’t feel like cheap plastic. It’s also comfortable to hold and easy to clean!

#1 Cat Scooper
Seriously. This is the best pooper scooper ever. Ever. There is no shaking back and forth, disrupting the pee clumps. The litter falls immediately through the slots, but the business stays on the scoop. It's a very sturdy scooper and I've never had any break. It's light-weight, too. I recommend this to all litter box cleaners!
