Does what it says
Probably the best rattle can paint I've ever used. Goes on easy, dries fast, and protects metal extremely well. A great premium spray paint from Seymour who, by the way, also makes 'Cast Blast' (another great spray paint). The stainless spray paint is worth every penny. Very happy with it.

Used on my rv. Amazing paint that seems to go on forever. Covers in one coat. The steel color is incredible looking! Don’t buy rustoleum. Pay a few extra bucks. Do not order via amazon though. Cans got beat up. Order from Seymour. Amazon doesn’t know how to pack spray cans.

Great paint
If using for automotive I highly recommend prepping the surface super good, sand it down super smooth, it doesn't look so good on rough surfaces. Painted my wheels and bumpers with this. Wheels look pretty sweet

Buyer Beware!!!
Almost impossible to depress the cap and when I did, the paint would come out in globs. I know how to use spray paint cans. I shook the can many times and followed the directions. When I tried to return the can, a received a message that the item was not returnable. I will always buy from Lowe's or Home Depot from now on. They stand behind their products.

Works fine but packaging is deceiving.
I would much prefer if the cap matched the color of the paint.

Finally a paint that stands up to brake fluid
So far this stainless steel rust protective spray paint is my go to solution for keeping things looking pristine. Worked on cast iron master cylinder and cheaper brake lines. I also used it for rust deterrent on front suspension parts. Sprayed grey primer, one light coat of stainless steel rust protective spray paint then semi-gloss black while it was still slightly tacky to the touch.

A bit dark for stainless, but good overall
Good dry time, easy to recoat in under 6 hours. Sands fine with mild abrasives. Nice color, just not exactly the stainless steel I was trying to match, but they're all slightly different I suppose. This was darker than the Commercial version of the Rustoleum Stainless Steel, but the Rustoleum was actually too light for my application. I wish I could have blended the two! ;)

Odd looking uneven finish.
Had a hard time finding- the hardware store guy recommended it. We followed all directions carefully but the finish is part sparkle part flat. Very odd looking almost like a shadow, but definitely not an even cover, texture or Color. Not sure what to do now.
