HOW DID THEY PUT THE TASTE OF ITALY IN A BOTTLE??? 🍅
This is hands down the best-tasting, highest-quality passata that money can buy. I have been using it for many years and can vouch for the consistent high-quality standards. There are no additives or preservatives, and it comes in a glass bottle to keep the taste fresh and pure, and free of BPAs. Shhh... It is the secret to all my homemade Italian tomato-based sauces. The Italian tomatoes, grown under the sunny skies of the Emilia-Romagna region, shine in a quick marinara and hold up to my seven-hour Sunday gravy. The taste actually gets richer with cooking, plus they add that special sweetness that only the best tomatoes can impart to long-simmered pork bones, tough cuts of meat, sausages and meatballs. Heaven is dipping a piece of nice fresh Italian bread (especially "the hump") into the sauce. It brings me back to Sunday dinners back in the day. Whole Foods keeps it in stock and it often goes on sale, so it is affordable. Every so often, I stock up to make sure that I always have it on hand. You can't go wrong with either the Tomato Puree Passata or the Tomato Puree with Fresh Basil. You can actually taste the basil in the puree and it works great when you don't have fresh basil on hand. Luckily, I have not had any issues with leakage since the bottles are always securely sealed. This is one of those products the I always like to have on hand.

do not trust what is proposed on the supermarket shelf, it does not matter anything to have an element that recalls Italy on the label or directly the name. Read the origin of the various products. This is 100% Italian and go on the safe side if you want to eat healthy and good. The Italian sauce contains few ingredients, but of great quality !!!
