We have a 6 yr old bulldog who contracted Leptospirosis this past summer. Unfortunately, it’s caused damage to his kidneys, which has then caused him to become anemic. Our vet prescribed a somewhat expensive biologic to help reverse the anemia. Then one of his techs suggested this supplement. She had a dog who was severely anemic, as well, and someone told her about these. Her dog’s RBC count went back to normal after 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, our boy’s RBC increased - since his condition is different, we didn’t expect the same result. But my vet was very happy with the progress. And I am, too.

Earlier this year my dog stopped eating and became very lethargic. We were so confused and took him to the vet to find out that he was anemic. We were told he would need blood transfusions but instead we started on these vitamins. Within a week there were noticeable changes. He started eating again and regained his energy. If your dog doesn’t want to eat the tablet by its self, you can crush it into powder put it in dog food or just anything he might like. I got a syringe with a little water/chx broth and put it in his mouth. My dog seems to like it like that and easier for him to take. I love how fast shipping was! Thank you amazon. The dog would eat this with out fussing. The dog was iron defishent.

2 years ago my dog had a horrible reaction to a vaccine that caused her to become severely anemic. We almost lost her. They were able to give her a transfusion and we immediately started her on this supplement. She gets it every day and we have not had a problem with her iron levels since. I am so impressed by this product!

Dogs refuse to eat

This product has made my almost 15 yr old Jack Russell back to normal! My boy was anemic w white gums and quite lethargic, and sleeping constantly. He has geriatric vestibular disease that I believe has subsided quite amazingly! I tried another liquid form of iron supplement for a bit but found this to be MOST EFFECTIVE! I give him 2 xs a day with his food or treat of peanut butter, along w a vitamin from this same brand and I'm so grateful to have found this product! I hardly write reviews and products have to wow me. This delivers results! Even my 14 yr old girl Jack Russell benefits too! My boy is nite and day. The energy has come back. He's barking and running after the ball again...something he loved so much and had lost interest! He's back to his grouchy growling self and doesn't need help up and down the stairs anymore either!
