PLATT Bike Seat Post Clamp Aluminium Alloy Bicycle Quick Release Seatpost Collar 28.6mm / 31.8mm /34.9mm

Got this for a Carrera Hellcat which by default came with a cheap barrel nut and bolt fastener. I ended up breaking the thread on the barrel nut as tightened it too much. Early days yet but this quick release is much simpler to use, is working as expected and seems to have a sturdy build. I ordered the correct size as I checked the specs first on the Halfords website. Make sure you do too or measure according to the pics in the item description.

Easy to fit and does its job very well, so far. You can easily buy the wrong size, have a look on the original bolted clamp for a size, or use a vernier caliper for measuring.
