Q: Would the sword fall out of its sheath if I had it on my backpack?

no because thats exactly where i have mines at. their is a latch on the sheath that a chain connects between that and the end of the sword handle so it doesn't slip out the sheath. for me just to secure it completely i did adjust the chain i lil shorter to the latch so it doesn't loosely slip out. if you get what im saying. for example when a necklace or watch is too long/big just shorten the actual chain so it fits right

Nice plastic sword

Nice play sword. Note that this is not a letter opener, the blade is plastic and completely not sharp so it's perfect for kids.

Missing chain on the handle of the samurai sword, blade is loosely fit to the sheath, blade was poorly made with paint chipping off in some areas

Umm I'm not really sure for a keychain on your keys because of the size. Maybe for your bookbag or purse. Plus someone may consider it as a knife even though it's not sharp. It has a lil weight too it and the length is a little taller then a number 2 pencil. Pretty cool though.
