May damage your trim - but good overall.
Went looking for any solution and landed on these, they are sturdy and work well, but can still damage your door trim (as most any of these hinge stops will do.

This is a pretty good wall bumper
This is a pretty good wall bumper. I use it on all of my rental units. The only problem is that the sticky tape does not hold it in place for too long so after couple of years it falls of. To prevent that I suggest screwing it to the wall with a screw. But to be honest I use a combination of 3 different door stoppers:1. Rubber Concave Wall Bumper2. Deluxe Hinge Pin Door Stop, sold here at Amazon - this one3. Spring Door Stop w/ Rubber BumperWhen we are talking about rentals, you can never be too protected. The kids usually disassemble the spring door stopper and remove the one from the wall so the last line of defense is the hinge pin door stopper. When you buy them in bulk here at amazon they are about $10-$15 for a pack of 10 each: way cheaper than sending a handyman to fill-in a giant hole in the wall.I did purchased a pack of 10 from #1 and #2 here at Amazon.

Still not decided if these are the best solution for my house
I purchased these because I got new solid flooring and new baseboard throughout the entire house. I wanted the house free of traditional door stopsfor looks and to not interfere with mopping/sweeping. I'm still questioning my decision and keeping the other door stops I purchased just in case. These work okay to keep the doorknob from hitting the wall, but there is flex and the knob will hit the wall if pressure it applied to the door. These may not be successful at stopping kids from smashing the doorknob into the wall. My knucklehead 11-year-old was bouncing against the door and this did not stop the doorknob from hitting the wall. Luckily she did not apply enough pressure to damage the wall before I told her what she was doing. Like I said, knucklehead. I could also see these damaging the door or the frame if adjusted to keep the door too far from the wall and too much pressure being applied. This is even when two are applied to each door.Another drawback of these are that the pins in the hinges seem to lift up, at least in my doors.I used traditional door stops mounted to the baseboard at the exterior doors because these doors are likely too heavy for these door stops.Even if I decide to use traditional door stops instead of these, I do have a couple of doors where normal door stops will not work well. I will end up keeping these on at least a couple doors. As far as quality, these seem fine. The exception was that one out of the twenty or so in total was missing the rubber piece on the screw. Each one is sealed in plastic so I know it didn't fall off in the box. This one cannot be used because it would punch a hole in the doorjamb.

Nice finish and qualilty
These stoppers are a true oil-rubbed bronze- not simply painted a matte black- so they will match other ORB hardware beautifully. Two of our hinges were scratched a bit- these imperfections aren't noticeable once installed. As another reviewer noted, this hinge pin design is shorter than others. We used these to replace outdated gold finished stoppers that had two adjustable pins. The older pins would adjust to a greater extent if necessary. The new stoppers had to be installed with the pin extended fully to keep the doors in our home clear of our baseboard heaters. Some folks may need to use a hinge pin stop that will adjust to a greater degree, such as this design, http://www.amazon.com/Designers-Impressions-Rubbed-Bronze-Adjustable/dp/B00A4CD46G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1421851471&sr=8-3&keywords=door+hinge+pin+oil+rubbed+bronze.Happily these stoppers opened just far enough to suit our needs.

look very nice
Got these to update our doors and they look great! We weren't able to find them completely oil rubbed bronze, even at the local Lowes. In fact, we found that we are two short and will be ordering another pack. I will add delivery was spot on.. which is pretty convenient considering I ordered several other things that were supposed to be here the same time and have not showed up.

Really good value
Pretty darn good. A little too flimsy to get a 5 star review, but a solid value. We are using 2 per door to make sure that they do their job (our doors are pretty heavy), but for a hollow door, I think that you could get away with one.

Nice door stop!
Attractive, easy way to add a door stop, when the spring style won't work. I don't think I would expect this style to stand up to the same amount of force as the spring type would (if the door were flung open hard), but under normal circumstances, these are easy to install, are less noticeable, and won't turn into an obnoxious cat/toddler toy.

Nice doorstops, nice bronze, thin profile
Nice doorstops, nice bronze, thin profile. End caps / bump caps should be rubber, not plastic
