Using this for wiring GX connectors as it doesn't snap after being moved around. I have several boxes of wire from this company and I've been pleased with them all. The spools in the box come wrapped with velcro straps, which can be reused. The silicone coating does not shrink when soldering and the wire tins very quickly and has a lot of fine threads.

Used for refurbishing vintage radio equipment that used to have rubber insulated wires. It gives that same vintage look with modern insulation values. A very good product aand I will be buying again when I find I need more.

I use 22awg instead of breadboard cables after tinning the tips. God quality and value and work for me. Bought more that one.

I use this wire for low voltage circuits on my model railway. I find it very easy to use for model railway lighting & similar low voltage circuits. Also its good quality wire.

Looking at the other reviews I expected "amazing" but I got "pretty good". I bought 22awg as I fancied something a bit thicker than the usual 24awg (note you get a metre less) well to me the strands inside look pretty thin and the size difference is just the insulation. I wouldn't like to pass 6+ amps through this. I've got 24awg solid that's thicker than this 22awg stranded, although the calipers say it is about 0.6mm ID and 1.6 OD..... It's not even the best silicone I've ever come across, not that flexible and not powdered, but it doesn't melt when my 350c soldering iron touches it (nor does the wire so its not CCA). It's pre-tinned all the way through it seems, not just the ends. The velcro and the box is a nice touch, but £15 is a bit pricey for "meh", but it was delivered in about 10 hours!

I found this really useful for my drone builds, particularly where lightness is a factor. The varied colours are perfect too and the wire and shrink are both good. Obviously it’s not for high voltage applications, but for 5v type stuff it’s fine. If I were to make this better I would add a roll of grey too as that’s the only colour it lacked, but that’s just me being picky.

Confesso di aver sbagliato l’AWG. Il 24 è leggermente più grande di quello che mi serviva ma debbo dire che i cavetti mi sembrano di buona qualità. Sono assai flessibili e la guaina, di gomma al silicone, sopporta bene la vicinanza della punta del saldatore ( 290°C ) . La scatoletta in cui arrivano è molto pratica, con tanti fori quante sono le bobine di cavo permette di tenere un certo ordine sul tavolo e di sfilare il cavo che si vuole senza creare grovigli inestricabili. Attenzione! Se si vuole usare questo tipo di cavo con connettori a crimpare, tipo quelli che si usano con Arduino e le varie breadboard allora bisogna acquistare un AWG26 o 28. Il 24 è troppo grosso.
