Maroma Fragrance, Night Jasmine, .34 Fluid Ounce

I have used vanilla perfume for years. This is a wonderful one. It smells like vanilla extract. That's what I love.

I've been ordering this for a few years now, and just grabbed time to send in a comment. This is a wonderful -- perhaps the MOST NOTICED ingredient in the lotion and salve that I make for myself in my kitchen. I just received a wonderful compliment from the dentist's office, which reminded me that I needed to express my thanks to this seller. My recipe for the overall garden-like fragrance I make is below, and while I can substitute on some of the other ingredients, nothing compares to the Rose fragrance by Maroma. I'm just sharing the recipe below because I love it so well, but if you have allergies, etc., then be sure to avoid any of the ingredients that would cause you problems. From there, you'll have to grab a normal recipe for lotion that will include thickeners/emulsifiers like beeswax. I start each batch with the Rose, then add from there. I sit the batch aside for a week or two, then come back and re-mix with small hand mixer and do a smell-test. Don't add too much Cinnamon ... Since essential oils are involved, I place the lotions and salves in dark colored glass containers, and store them in the refrigerator until needed. The lotion will last months, sitting in my purse. You have to adjust the recipe to suit your taste, but I get compliments nearly every week about this ... here it is, and don't substitute the Maroma Rose: My Recipie: (store in dark glass) FLORAL Rose Attar oil (MAROMA) 6 Parts Lily of the Valley Fragrance Oil 2 Parts Hyacinth Fragrance Oil 2 Parts Jasmine Fragrance Oil 4 Parts Lavender Essential Oil 1 Part CITRUS Valencia Bergamot Essential Oil 4 Parts Neroli Fragrance Oil 1 Part Clean Cotton Fragrance Oil MUSK/WOODS/EARTHY Viva La Juicy Clove Essential Oil 2 Parts Oak Moss Fragrance Oil 1 Part Vetyver Fragrance Oil Vetivert Essential Oil 1 Part SENSUOUS/ WARMTH Vanilla Essential Oil 2 Parts Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil 3 Parts CARRIER OIL Black Jamaican Castor Oil

This was my first attar purchase. The opening rose scent was light then it quickly faded into the standard, pleasant middle eastern incense/oud smell that I consider unisex/masculine. Not bad at all, just not as rosy or feminine as I prefer. I used one small finger dab on my wrist & the pleasant oud smell lasted for hours & it didn't smell synthentic.

I have been wearing the “Maroma” brand Rose Attar for over 15 years. I get compliments all the time, it smells so amazing just like you’ve walked right past it beautifully potent rosebush in full bloom on a dewy early morning walk, never overwhelming. When I think the scent is gone at the end of the day I still have people asking me what I’m wearing. Many thousands of rose petals are needed to produce this attar known as Ruh Gulab or soul of the rose. In this attar, the gentle, soft smell of roses is cradled by the underlying notes of the sandalwood. It is intoxicating and nurturing, like coming home into the warmth after being caught in a storm. Enjoy!! I hate to share my personal scent secret.

it smells very marshmellow-y artificial, I love sweet vanillas but this isnt it Look ,the seller(Holly HIll Health) was great and fixed my issue promptly- thats why i couldnt give 1 star! but as far as this vanilla scent goes, its not for me! 5 stars for customer service, 0 stars for scent.

This smells heavenly. I feel like royalty when I wear it and haven't had any complaints.

Very beautiful fragrance. I mix it in with my hand cream and apply. Very long lasting.

Do not recommend. First time I bought this it was from Whole Foods maybe three years ago and it smelled lovely and lasted very well. They stopped selling it there so ordered this one. The bottle is not the same as in the photo and smells very synthetic and has an alcohol like after scent. I never use it because it smells so bad compared to the original that I still have a tiny bit left of. Do not buy if you think you like this. Sadly I think it's a changed formula or fake.

Long lasting beautiful fragrance.

I’m really disappointed with this one. I bought it because some reviews said it smells like The Body Shop Vanilla perfume from the 1990s which was one of my favourites and which was sadly reformulated to smell nothing like the original. Sadly, this Maroma fragrance oil smells very strongly like fake almond extract, and there’s almost no vanilla. The bottle is also tiny! All in all, I don’t recommend this. Save your money and get something better. I’ll try to layer it with other scents to get some use out of it.
