Snug, but just what I was looking for. Baggallini bags are very well designed
This bag has pockets for everything I need, but it is snug. The feature most useful is the shoulder strap that can be unzipped and used as two straps to wear it as a backpack.

Good size to use as a purse, well-made with good pockets but straps are too long for a short person
I was looking for a small, lightweight backpack that I could use as a purse but didn’t look like a laptop bag. This bag is light and is a nice size for a purse - not so small that you can’t fit anything but a wallet but not so big that it looks like a hiking backpack. Looks like it will hold up well. The big front zipper is a little stiff but not impossible to use. The fabric is stiff but will soften with time and yet it will not break down (same fabric as backpacks for hiking). Good pockets inside and out. The pocket on the outside with no zipper or latch would be good for easy access to your phone but I keep my phone in the latch pocket since I worry about things sliding out of an unsecured pocket. There are interior card slots with RFID protection which is nice for travel. The reasons for taking off a star: I am 5’ 2” and the shoulder straps are slightly too long. I’m using it as is but may see if a seamstress can shorten them. The ability to use it as a backpack or crossbody means the shoulder straps unzip which is practical but unattractive. The bag borders on looking like a computer backpack. Update: the strap adjust keeps slipping. I make the straps as short as possible and then they slowly slide and get longer.

A phenomenonal bag at a fair price
I've been on the hunt for the perfect handbag for a LONG time. This is my favorite bag by far. It's the perfect size for organizing my day-to-day essentials, looks stylish, and is comfortable to carry. Even my physical therapist approved, and agreed that this was a better alternative to a shoulder bag. The fabric and zippers are sturdy, and I suspect this will live up to the Baggallini reputation for quality. I especially love the small "leash" for securing my keys, so I don't have to fish around for them. The subtle jacquard cheetah print is timeless, and I will enjoy this bag for a long time. I highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for something that's comfortable, stylish, practical, and of excellent quality.

The wider size allows you to had more items- yet the bag appears not to be too large or heavy
I am pleased with this bag- especially the price. I ordered this because of the backpack style and wider size. The wideness - allows one to add more personal items- without these being "squished". The material and color are perfect- with no fading or damage. The backpack straps are adjustable and fit my back in a comfortable manner. The bag is smartly styled- not oversized- with outside/ inside pockets to fit your phone, keys etc. The bag is great to go about your day- as it is not heavy. I plan to order another one in a different color.

Great looking in black with gold
Very nice looking backpack. The gold hardware looks great — elevates it from the usual utilitarian looking travel bag. A few things to note: The front pocket looks like two because there are two zippers, but it’s really one. You have to unzip both to open it wide, but it looks nice. Underneath the toggle is a deep pocket, secure and easy access. Behind that is a somewhat hidden slash pocket that’s supposed to be for your phone. It’s very deep. A phone is unlikely to fall out, but you have to reach down to get it. Inside has nice organization. The slot behind all the credit card slots is deep. Not sure what the elastic is for because there is a pen slot, which is convenient. The light colored interior is great! Black is too dark to see things. The bottom of the bag is deeper (thicker?) than the top, making the bag pretty roomy. The top part is flat and keeps the purse from looking too backpack-y. Some reviewers didn’t like the length of the straps. Yup, they are long! (And I’m short.) I experimented by tying each into a knot at the bottom (thus shortening them) and then put it on my back. It sat higher but I can’t say it necessarily felt better. When I use it as a sling, the straps are actually the perfect length to carry in front, on one shoulder, where it’s easy to reach into. The straps are the perfect length for that. The main compartment has a dual zipper so you can wear the bag on either shoulder as a sling and still keep the zipper on the correct side. And yeah, it arrived with a big crease in front but it’s going away. It can’t be folded in the back to transport flat because there’s a foam thing that lines a sleeve pocket (inside) for a tablet or Kindle. I have had it hung up for a week or so and it is smoothing out on its own. The best thing about this bag is (in the version I got) the gold hardware. It looks really nice with black. This is the only travel backpack I found with gold hardware. It makes the bag look less “REI” and more like a purse.

Love the colour great size for a backpack

Bought this for a backpacking Europe trip for a month. I did a lot of research and it was excellent. Loved the hook for keys, the safe spot for passport and cards, various pockets, easy access phone pocket and the ability to convert from backpack to cross body. It’s not huge but I was able to fit everything I needed for each day including iPad, phone, drink bottle and snacks.

Firstly, if you are buying this as a surprise present mine was only in a see through manufacture’s bag, so was fully visible! I love the style and colour of this bag, however I absolutely would not pay the full price for it for reasons detailed below. This is the second bag in this style that I have purchased. The first one I was lucky enough to buy cheaply at an Amazon special price deal. This bag was more expensive but again on a special deal.. The main problem is the way it is packed. The bag is sent folded, without any kind of stuffing to stop it creasing. It ends up creasing along the front quite badly and the fold mark is very visible and doesn’t drop out. Even though I have had my first bag for quite some time, stuffed the front pocket for weeks before using it, in the hope the creases would go, they did not. I have ended up having to keep the pocket stuffed with cloth to smooth the creases. Because I got the bag at a bargain price, I do not mind doing this. Having said that, really Baggallini and anyone selling these bags should take more care in the way the bags are sent out. Once again this bag has suffered the same unnecessary problem. Not only has it got a crease at the front, but the left, middle, vertical pocket seam is bent and creased. See photo. The full price of this bag is somewhere in the region of £100. At £100 one shouldn’t expect to have this problem. Even at the reduced price I paid, I would expect the bag to be perfect after all it is brand new. I decided to keep this bag, because it was the last one available in the colour and pattern - it is also sold out on the Baggallini website. I find the bag lightweight and very useable. It is wider at the bottom than the top, which I like. Keeps me from over-packing it. There are three front pockets. The front zipped pocket looks like 2, but is in fact one pocket. The pocket with a turning clasp closure and the slip pocket behind are nice and deep. The inside zipped pocket is also nice and deep. This makes these pockets very useable. I like the padded pocket which can be used for anything that needs extra protection or a tablet etc. The main compartment is roomy, but does become narrower towards the top. Something to keep in mind if you need to carry taller items. There are RFID card pockets, a slip pocket that will hold sunglasses, pen pocket, elasticated lipstick holder and key leash. Despite the creases I do love this bag.
