For goodness sakes...use as directed. I did not read the directions on how to use this and placed a thin layer over my chin area...BIG mistake. This stuff is powerful. I felt the tingling and thought great! Its working, HOWEVER...the next morning when I washed my face, the skin on the chin area where I put this stuff came off and I had a bad raw area, it scaled over later that morning (yes, it scaled) , and found a brand new wrinkle in the worst spot of treated area. PLEASE read the instructions!! I wish I had. It states to only use ONE DROP on face, I used a lot more than that and it was my mistake. My face has healed, wrinkle has vanished, and I am using it again but like I am supposed to... ONE DROP in the area I am treating...not a drop more!! This is good stuff. Just use it like you are supposed to.

With fine lines, and deeper wrinkles, at my age, yet being told for the many decades I've used Neutrogena products) I'm continually being told how much younger I look by many, all the time, at least 20 years! (yes, it's amazing to me to hear that all the time from many), but it could be as simple as good genes from my mom......but I know this - every single time I've used Neutrogena products, I've never been disappointed in results they claim. I recently switched/was lured/curious to try another product (with a lot of hype, that was a little more expensive) - as I sometimes am when I see/hear/get curious about all the many claims of skin care products. Then I pour over tons of products that are confusing in a drugstore/online with many many claims - this does this, that does that - wishing there was ONE routine that actually does as it claims.. This happens often, and it's beyond frustrating and annoying to try them out and go off my normal routine for weeks to see if there is any result - for after time to give it a good trial, many times skin always looked WORSE, absolutely not better, with even more expensive products! Neutrogena has not disappointed - I return to my tried-and-true routine of serum and moisturizer, night and day - every time I return to Neutrogena. I need to remember the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", and stop thinking the "grass is greener" on the other side of the drugstore aisles when I get lured by hype of hundreds of products, many much more expensive, that claim results they can't deliver, in my experience. I do not know what lotions and potions that cost much much more than Neutrogena do, but I know this - the few times I've ever been lured/curious to try another more expensive brand, NOTHING did better than Neutrogena (serum, moisturizer, night and day, along with some other really great cleansing and other type products. They are a tried-and-true good company, around a very long time in skin care, and they've covered the science/safety and do not over-hype what they claim, in my experience, priced well for what they do, and competitive with other brands carried in the "drugstore" experience of shopping brands - and they have it covered, for the research and safety you can depend on, and in my experience, for what they claim - it works, for me. When people everywhere, lots, tell you that you look decades younger, and MOST ALWAYS all I've used many decades (serum, day and night Neutrogena moisturizers), that must say something for the product, and I'm going to remember that the next time I'm lured by hype and save myself the annoyance and time/effort to even stop and try this and that - Neutrogena has never disappointed me, so why annoy myself looking for anything else when I trust they have it covered. Yes, I highly recommend the product.

Nuetrogena…I am faithful to for good reason. This pair of night time skin care products are my staple. I’m 60, live in Colorado where it is dry and hard on skin. I have seen so much improvement in wrinkles and overall freshness of the skin on my face from using this. There is no scent, the retinol aspect can be irritating if my face is chapped from mountain wind, but that is expected. I have ridiculously sensitive skin and this duo performs well with no reactions due to added perfume or stabilizers. I highly recommend this product for the budget conscious person who wants to get what she pay for!

This is a great serum! I have noticed an improvement in my wrinkles and the overall smoothness and clarity of my skin. As with many anti-wrinkle products, there is a mild burning sensation when you first apply. This isn't anything too overwhelming and it didn't cause any actual irritation to my normally sensitive skin. After using it for several weeks, I no longer notice any burning. If you use this product, I would highly recommend also purchasing a good face cream. While this serum is effective at wrinkle treatment, it doesn't resolve any dryness to your skin. Also, please wear a sunscreen! I forgot to apply a good SPF and was outside for several hours and paid the price. Overall, this is a great product especially for the cost!

Love the product!!!!! I have been using this same product for 19 years. I always found it similarly priced wherever I purchased it. I ordered it from Amazon on May 12, 2023, priced at $24.93. When I went to reorder it today, October11, 2023, it was priced at $59.99. That's a 241% increase in five months!!!!! That's not inflation! That's outrageous!!!!!

I have really sensitive skin, like I can’t use anything, so I figured this would burn me but so far I’ve had no issues and after a week my skin already looks so much better! My complexion is clearer, my tone is more even, my pores are smaller, and my fine lines are definitely less noticeable. I’ve heard you absolutely have to be careful of the sun with retinol but I live in Florida and it’s summer, so I’m just using a basic spf 30 daily moisturizer on top and so far I’ve had no issues, though I will say I went to the beach yesterday and after 20 mins my face was on fire, so if you’ll be directly in the sun for a while maybe put on some real sunscreen. Other than that this product is surprisingly perfect.

This is my second order . I have used this for more than 6 months. In the beginning it burns, then use it alternate days till your skin gets used to it. I am 46 yrs old and I am told I don't look my age I look much younger. I then use neutrogena moisturiser and u have to use neutrogena sunscreen when u go out in the sun as this has pure retinol.
