Sort of, the MIC is low impedance, balanced (Tip Ring Sleeve), assuming you are talking about guitar Amp, results will vary, you will get something out of it, but you will loose volume and likely some excessive frequency roll off because the input is high impedance. Best to buy a direct box (impedance matching network - LOW impedance in - HIGH impedance out). I've seen this done and amazingly in some cases it works Ok, in others not. In general - this is bad electronics and not meant to work this way

Your question involves way too many variables. This adapter is 1/4 inch, too big to plug into a laptop or IPad. You need to get tech support to help you set up the right connections. My guess is you need to connect the line out from your computer into an amplifier that is connected to the speakers in the auditorium. Only someone familiar with your equipment can help you.

Xlr mono out from back of mixer - plug 1/4" trs end into usb audio interface. will it give l&r on mac?

Sorry. I can’t answer your question, only because I used the cable to connect my microphone to my Tascam DP-006, which only has 1/4” inputs. For that it worked great.
