Q: I should use only use only "Toyota Genuine ATF Type T- IV" (ATF JWS3309 or NWS6500) for my corolla 2005. Is it the same oil?

You can use Idemitsu TLS ATF which is made exclusively as a toyota type-iv formulation. I have found this runs better in my 2008 corolla. I tried toyota type-iv but it was jerking and shifting rough. I know mobil jws3309 is equivalent as type t iv. But never tried it.

Q: how long does your transsmison fluid sit on the shelf befor it gets sold? 1 year or less?

It lasts for years in the brutal conditions of a transmission. Don't see any reason it would go bad on the shelf. Engine oil is good for five years on the shelf so I would expect transmission fluid ought to do the same.

is Toyota atf jws 3324 and nws 9658 the same as genuine Toyota arf type T1V and Toyota genuine 00289 and scion Toyota genuine ws
