The ultimate fix is spending hundreds for someone to buff out scratches. Or this, which masks things just fine. Alloy color matches pretty good, though it is more apparent if you get paint in non scratched areas. Really bad scratches may need a couple coats. It's just a brush tip, just paint it on.

The paint is very easy to apply. There is no mention of a primer, so I applied it directly to raw aluminum where the curb has removed the paint. This matched my factory color well, and time will tell if it stays on. Looks good right now. The scratches I painted have disappeared.

I bought these rims of eBay as a second set, obviously they were not A grade but B grade and I wanted to spruce them up but did not want to repaint the entire rim (just time I don't have at the moment but I know how to). So I opted for this paint/repair. It works well enough but does take some skill. The paint does not match 100% as there are some dark tones and light tones despite shaking it for a while. Any case, it gets the job done (see photos) and will hide the pitted imperfections for a while. I'm not entirely sure if this paint will last but when the time comes I'll just likely do a real paint/clear it next time. Would I recommend this? Yes .. it's cheap enough but it won't make your rims look perfect by any stretch of the imagination.

Sadly I have a side rim gouge on my new 2022 Cadillac powder coated rims, made me sick. Don't know how it happen. Thought I would try this before going to the dealership to pay hundred and hundreds of dollars to fix it. After all the great reviews, thought why not. The gouge is not horrible but my car is in excellent shape with no scratches or dents except this unfortunate incident. My rims are 2 colors, silver and dark grey (to keep it simple)...TOO LIGHT. Not eye appealing but I do think it may work for you, so I do suggest trying it. Good luck.

This is a perfect color match for a Lexus factory painted wheel ('12 RX350). I used this to repair a deep wound, building the paint up and then wet sanding it down - worked well. It's not a good-as-new repair, but that has more to do with my patience and skill level - the product works beautifully, and is very good on spot patches. Recommended.

Color is no where near chrome. I used this on my wheels and I’m not sure what is worse the scratch itself or the difference in colors of the actual chrome wheel and the paint to cover it up.

Very easy to use. Perfect match for unfinished aluminum rims. Made the scuffs and marks disappear from a standing distance. Of course you can see the damage if you get close and eyeball, but the color matches perfect.

In a word rubbish you would be better off buying a permanent marker doesn’t work as described save yer money

I regret buying this for $10 thinking that it will do the trick, but it's a waste of money. $1 paint spray will do the same job.
