Organic and tasty
Organic. We soak overnight and then stove top cook for 5 hours, on low. Add salt and pepper. I put cheese on it, too. I recommend pressure cooker. And soak and rinse before cooking. Pour off soaking water, add fresh water to cook. Lowers lectins.

Beautiful Peas!
I am a home canner, and lady farmer. I try to grow all I can organically, but when I can't, I support other organic farms! These organic Black Eyed Peas are wonderful! They're clean and whole, pressure canned beautifully, and delicious! 🩷

Great product
Great product. I've ordered these more than once. The black-eyed peas arrive in good condition and they aren't old and super dried out. Packaging is well labeled. I will stick with this brand.

Organic Black-Eyed Peas Without the High Shipping Cost
I searched and searched the Internet trying to find organic dry black-eyed peas, but everyone wanted to charge an exorbitant shipping rate to ship them. I decided to look on Amazon and I found these. I decided to follow a low oxalate diet after experiencing my third kidney stone and I discovered that black-eyed peas are low oxalate and can be used in place of most beans for recipes calling for beans. I'm happy I found these organic black-eyed peas. They have worked well. My only complaints are that there were a lot of broken peas and the cost has went up substantially. I found another brand of organic black-eyed peas for my second purchase at a much lower cost.

Wow, giant black eyed peas
These black eyed peas are slightly larger on average than any other commercially grown black eyed peas that I've tried. Cooking tip to reduce phytic acid - presoak longer, 12-24 hours with one tablespoon of vinegar added to the soak water per cup of dry peas. Change the soak water at a halfway point. Discard the soak water and cook in fresh water. The peas will take less time to cook, about half the time as needed when only soaked for 8 hours or one hour after bringing to a boil first. The lengthy presoak makes the phytic acid break down and then calcium and other minerals will be absorbed into the body instead of binding with phytic acid in the stomach or intestinal tract.

No pebbles, no fluffs, no weevils. Clean. Just rinse and cook. I just soak it in cold water overnight, rinse and pressure cook with salt and onions (African style). It comes out soft and delicious. I didn’t think I could find such clean organic cowpeas without pesticides until now. Thanks.

Sooo delicious! Clean which saves work. And delicious! I cook them on no more than medium heat (5 on the dial) to help keep in the flavour.

This was the first time I've tried Black Eyed Peas. I have a great recipe for Black Eyed Peas Stew that I am hooked on. Love the creaminess of these beans. Have gone through half the bag already. Easy to add to any stir fry. Will be re-ordering.
