My battery gave out after three years or so. I needed a replacement and I didn't want to buy an entire new drill. This battery replacement is not cheaper than anywhere else, I don't have to buy an entire drill with a battery. It does what I need it to do.

I'm happy to report I GOT A WINNER! I saw all the negative reviews and just crossed my fingers. It sounds like I'm just lucky. But the battery replacement I received works flawlessly with plenty of power and saved me some good money from having to buy a whole new Drill/Driver. It was a perfect fit and charged fast. It felt good to see a green light on the charger again.

Takes a long while to charge. And only lasts if the plants aren't to overgrown.

Bought this as a third battery that I use for weedeater and blower. My yard is small-medium but requires a lot of light weed-eating around sidewalks, buildings, guard rails, etc. The original two batteries were just barely enough to finish and quickly blow sidewalks and driveway (about 20 minutes use each one.) If I was a few days late and the growth was heavier, I would have to charge and finish the next day. Now that I have three, I know I can get the whole job done. The first two batteries I have been using for three years and they still hold a full charge. These batteries originally listed at about $80, so I didn't have an extra until the price came way, way down. It's around $35 now. amount of the original charge. By the way the weedeater and blower are immaculate and hold up like a dream. I did have to replace the line cover on the bottom, but for a couple of bucks at the local Lowes, they knew immediately what I wanted when I walked in with it. I am momentarily reminded how grateful I am not to have to use electric cord or gas engine weed-eaters anymore. These battery products won't help you much around the farm, but for the house in town I am delighted after a lifetime of struggling with devices to have these lightweight, always-working, no maintenance, machines and great battery performance.

My Black & Decker hedge trimmer battery weakened with age and got so I could not complete the job before it ran down. A battery from the original manufacturer is very expensive. So I decided to try this one. It looks the same, fits perfectly and performs as advertised. A good buy.
